So hungover this morning I accidently wore two different shoes (1 Viewer)

Then there is an SUV parked in the precise middle of the road, preventing cars from passing on either side and blocking the only spot directly in front of my apartment. The guy is standing halfway out his door on the phone. After politely waiting about 15 seconds without honking my horn he looks at me. I point to the spot "can you move up so I can park there"?
Did you say this to him or just imply it by hand gestures? Maybe he thought you were asking him do move into the spot so you can get by and he just did as you asked.

Its not acting but you could try live-streaming and get started in that TODAY on twitch.tv or youtube.  There are a lot of people doing that right now making thousands per month.
I think he should make the most of his available assets. he is built like a Safety with a huge dong, will have his own delivery man uniform if he gets that gig, and wants to practice acting.  Clearly he needs to create a persona and act it out in an All Male "Review".

"And now Ladies, and you few Gentlemen, we present our Pizza Delivery boy, Rok, and he is ready to "deliver" in a big way."

Acting, stage presence practice, and potential dates.

His catchphrase could be "did somebody order a ten inch sausage?"

I would expect to get individual beers wrapped in paper bags, then placed in another bag.  I thought they did it for insulation to keep the beers colder and to reduce noise.  I have never consider the packaging to be a socio-economic issue.

I also haven't bought individual beers in 20+ years - they have some mix and match 6 packs but they give you a little box for that.

Best of luck with the server position.  Hopefully puts some coin in your pocket and some tail on your ####.

Thanks. It's a very beautiful restaurant. I think it will make a name for itself and my goal is to be the go to guy and get some experience.
What's the name of the restaurant?

I look as nerdy/preppy as a guy can and this is how my beer is handed to me as well.

Relax.

Store near me puts it in a bag with a straw without asking. If it has a regular bottle cap they ask you if you want it popped off.

RNR: You will be a happier person if you can learn to let this kind of stuff go. Most likely the guy means nothing by it and secondly, who cares what the guy working at the convenience store thinks?

My guess is you're pretty critical of others and because of that you feel criticized/judged by everyone else. The lens you view the world through is how you feel others view you. If you lighten up on people, have more understanding and compassion for people you will not only feel more understood, more connected and more loved by others but the subtleties of what you say, your body language and facial expressions will change and you will literally find yourself connecting with people in a way you never thought possible.

Probably better that he doesn't answer this.
Why?

Obviously you think by giving the name of the restaurant some mean spirited FBG would use this info to get RnR in trouble. Can't think of any other reason and that one seems a little paranoid IMO.

Fixed. He's reading WAY too much into the paper bag. If it were me the thought wouldn't have even entered my head and I'd simply reply "No thanks. Plastic is fine."

who cares what the guy working at the convenience store thinks?
This is the other end of it. Even if I'm wrong who gives a rats a**. If something so benign as this is getting under your skin then almost every corner in life has something sinister waiting.

It's not like it hasn't happened in the past here, multiple times.  And RNR is someone who tends to engender strong reactions from some people.  I feel like the upside of him mentioning the name is very small and the downside is potentially huge.  If anyone wanted to go there and be waited on by him, I think PMs are the way to go.

FBGs contacted my ex girlfriend in FB in the past so I'm not giving out the name of the restaurant.

The brown bagging the beer wasn't meant to get this serious. It was an innocuous question.

Rok, if you are serious about getting a job/career rolling I have some advice, but before I type a tldr response I want you to at least quote/like this post so I know you read it and will take it semi serious.

The liquor store nearest me puts all booze in a black plastic bag, so nosy neighbors can't tell if it's vodka or just a "soft drink".

What kind of career?
The building trades. There are like 20 to pick from. From carpenter to operator. You can make a killing to if you want/don't mind to travel for work, you can see the country or Canada and easily pull 6 figures with a pension good health insurance and other great benefits.

How am I supposed to learn these at my age?

Boise is the fastest growing construction area in the country right now and has a huge shortage of construction workers.  Very cheap to live here

I did construction for many years. The truth is I hate it.
Something to keep in the hopper if the new job doesn't work out or you don't care for the hospitality industry.  Seems like you could make some pretty decent cheddar pretty quickly to at least give you something in the bank and if you have experience, it shouldn't be a very steep learning curve.  I hate my frigging job too, but I do it because I'm good at it and it pays well enough to support my lifestyle.

From all I've seen the best I could hope to make as a laborer is $15 an hour

Absolutely not. Go to a local union hall, ask them about the different trades. Many different areas have news papers with every trade in there. Here is a list of them off the top on my husband's head.

Electrician

Welder

Pipe fitter

Plumber

Insulator

Operator

Brick layer

Elevator (all types from installing to maintenance)

Finishers

Drywallers

Painters

Laborers

Sheet metal

Heating and cooling

From all these choices plus more there are advancement opportunities too. You could try to move up to a foreman, general foreman, superintendent, safety guys, project managers, estimator.
