Got into a discussion over at twoplustwo and ended up taking this bet. I bet one guy $100, one guy $1000, and left it open for anyone else who wanted to bet. My reasoning was that Minnesota has played a harder schedule so far yet has a better record and they have an easier record the rest of the way. I actually made the bet when Minnesota was tied with Seattle at 10-10. Thoughts on this bet?

That's 12 wins for the Vikings; 9 for the Eagles. And that's assuming the Eagles can actually sweep the Redskins. Make no mistake, the Eagles could/should be undefeated right now. But they're not. And teams that lose games the way they have find ways to lose other games later in the year.

If the Vikings lose the two games I think they could lose that's still 10 wins and the Eagles would have to win two of the three up in the air games for them for you to lose this bet.

I think you will be out some cash on that one. In my opnion, Philly is awfully good. They could easily be 7-0. Sure Minnesota has an easier schedule but I would be concerned if I were you.

At the time you made this bet, and based on their remaining schedules, I didn't think it was really that bad or uneven. My first thought was it would be a wash. GL man. I don't want to see you lose $1.1K, but I'll have to root against the Viks when they play the Pack.
