So much disinterest in Shady (1 Viewer)

Probably because not many people feel copelled to post in a thread just to agree with the 3 posters before them.

Why would this bother you?

Honestly, if you put a gun to my head and asked me to make a 3 paragraph entry on his prospects going into 2012, I would probably run out of stuff to say after a few lines.

"Top 3 pick, with top 5 downside barring injury"...every other top RB has a "story" behind him, a possible slip-up.

Foster: capable backup in Tate, could get pulled in games (OK, not a big one)

Rice: possible hold out...did not work out well for Johnson last year

Matthews: Carrying the load for the first time, has been nicked up in the past

MJD: Lots of touches recently

McFadden: Rarely healthy

Chris Johnson: Coming off of a poor year that was not injury-based

Marshawn Lynch: One year in Seattle; can he do it again?

And the list goes on...again, I am not saying all (or any) of these guys will run into issues, but there are concerns (or at least thoughts) as to why they may not hit their 2011 levels. The only thing I heard about McCoy is that they may reduce his load, but it is not like he has Tate or Hillis behind him.

Agreed - not much to say. As long as he stays healthy, with his talent and the workload he gets in both the running and receiving game, I don't see how he doesn't finish in the top 3. Top 5 at worst if the offense sputters a bit.

I think Philly's offense clicks this year. Everyone is healthy and happy. Which means McCoy goes off. He's the #1 back on my board followed by Foster. I'm hoping I can land him with my 3 pick. If not, I'm taking (gulp) Rodgers.
