so who's going to rush out and get anderson and wynn? (1 Viewer)

so far over 300 yards and 5 td passes for anderson.

so far 50 yards (only 10 attempts) and 2 td runs for wynn (plus 2 receptions).

of course, anderson is anderson (and quinn is there), and it looks like a rbbc in green bay.

is the cincy defense that bad? bad tackling by the g-men (wilson sure looked like he could have at least hit wynn -- or was it a great move on wynn's part?).

I just grabbed both. Shoot first and ask questions later.

Wynn might have some value this year. He definitely outplayed Jackson, based on the stats. WHo knows what's going on with Morency and whether he'll be able to snatch that job when he's healthy. I'd take my chance on Wynn if I was in desperate need of a RB3 or bye week plug in.

Anderson will give way to Quinn at some point. However, he looks like a great #3 QB for deeper leagues. With bye weeks and untimely injuries fast approaching, you simply cannot sleep on a guy like Anderson (...assuming you get him for pennies on the dollar).

in a 14-team league, there's not much on the waiver wire.

what i'd really like to do is to pick them up and then trade them for more substantial value.

This is a guppy thing...no comment
Then don't make one. Some of us play in leagues with limited bench positions.
Well if thats the case pick them up then..you're going nowhere!
'Don't mind hellz, he's just a know it all tool. If you have the roster space nothing wrong holding him a couple of weeks to see if he is a good filler or not. Cleveland has some weapons, so a bad QB should even put up respectable numbers. If you don't take some chances you'll miss some boats. Every year there are a few players that come out of nowhere and put up unexpected stats. Probably won't be either of these guys, shrug.

Stop with the guppy crap...Not all that excited about Wynn. Take out one 38 yard run. and it was 9 carries for 12 yards.
The take the long run away comment is dumb. If you're going to do that then why not take away the 2 carries in which Wynn got tackled as soon as he received the handoff. No RB would've gotten yards on those.Look I'm not saying Wynn's going to be a stud or even an every week starter. However the coaching staff really likes him and after watching the first two games he appears to be the Packers best RB. I think he's worth a shot in large (14+ team leagues) or in dynasty leagues.

If Braylon Edawards is OK (and he looked pretty good in his interview after the game, but you never know what happens in a week), Anderson is a good gamble if you are desperate for a QB. He has a ton of weapons and if JLew gets off, they can be dangerous.

The team won't win many games, but I think he is a decent matchup play if you are hurting at QB. Plus. the D is so bad, there is a great chance at garbage time numbers. Finally, he should definitely be rostered if you have a QB flex or 2-QB system.

Wynn I rostered in one league, but I am second guessing the decision - I thought he ran way better than GB and could be the team's starter next week, but that doesn't tell me much - the GB running game looks atrocious and they are in the wrong division to have a struggling running game.

Agreed. I don't like those types of comments. Take 6 of Palmer's 50 pass attempts away and he was 27/44 for 0 TDs and 2 picks.

IMO, It's kind of ridiculous to take away plays that DID happen. :goodposting:

What interests me about Wynn is that he was getting carries in the 2nd quarter not the late 3rd and 4th quarters. This would make me think he is part of the normal rotation not just a guy they threw in there in a blowout to protect Jackson.

I have no problem sticking him on a shelf to see what happens to him.

Agreed - you're not talking about a situation where the starter is entrenched. Far from it, actually.Wynn could conceivably take the job for himself if Jackson doesn't pick it up and Morency doesn't get back soon.
