Something you plan on learning to do some day. (1 Viewer)

Surf. Not at expert level or anything, but I've always wanted to do it.

I took Calculus in high school and did ok on the multiple choice portion of the AP test. I have retained none of it. I decided to relearn Cal for no reason other than to do it.

I looked around online and after reading through some Wikibooks, I decided to freshen up on Algebra first. Started out with Wikibooks again, but there were a few too many errors and I ordered a book from Amazon.

There's a community college within 2 miles of my house. They may have a course of two for me, but I really don't want to pay too much unless I have a use for learning it.

Wouldn't mind learning Spanish after this, and I was decent on the piano until maybe 10 y/o, but all I can play these days is "When the Saints go marching in." I think I'm going to ask my mother for our old piano soon.

DrD, have you used live bait? Put something the size of a bream or perch on the end of the line and hold on. Works for bass if they won't bite anyway.

For anyone wanting to learn an instrument....especially piano or guitar.

We have something called YouTube we didn't have them.

It's now so much easier to learn popular songs because there's an instructional video for every single song under the sun now on there.

I've even uploaded a few piano ones myself.

I say go for it

I bought Rocksmith for my brother in law and he already knows how to play guitar. He scoffed at it and looked at anything negative he could find about it because I think he took it as a slap in the face. Anyway he said it was telling him to tune it wrong and this and that.

Anyway I am thinking of purchasing the game. Anyone with any experience?

Conversational Spanish and sign language.

Not sure why I want to learn sign language but its always been a goal of mine.

Spanish is something I was fairly fluent in at one point but would like to be able to converse in again.

Khan Academy is a good site if you want to brush up on math.

High-end wood working/cabinet making.

Fly fishing.

Would love to run a large-scale cannabis growing/breeding program one day.

10-hour orgasms.

Simple surgeries, like appendectomies or repairing compound fractures.

Going to start growing hops in the Spring, I have a ton of land and would like to grow a variety of them. I will use them in homebrewing but would also like to see if some of the local breweries that have opened up recently would be interested in them. Heck , if they give me free beer and allow me to name a brew I would give them away.

continue to improve on guitar and golf and whatever technological skills that are needed to keep me employeed at my current pay grade. that's it.

I have heard they are really easy to grow and once you get them, they just keep coming back....couldn't get rid of them if you wanted to.
