Sooo-How's your fantasy teams doing? (1 Viewer)

I'm in 6 leagues-all PPR-redraft.

5-3

5-3

5-3

4-4

3-5

3-5

feel confident in only two leagues.  The rest I'm hanging by a thread.  C. Carson, Ma. Bryant, & A. Rogers injuries & or stupidity really hurt.  The Rogers injury in regards to D. Adams & J. Nelson as have one or the other in all leagues.  Seems like I'm begging on Sundays to score 130 pts., which last year would have been a junk score.  some of my guys took a knee for the anthem & never got up or so it seems.  Scoring down across the board this year. IMO

Four leagues

Auction/dynasty start-up: 7-1 (just lost zeke though)

weird 4 year keeper league that resets after this year: 7-1 (lost OBJ)

re-draft full ppr- 7-1 but 4th in points. smoke and mirrors!

redraft stanard: 6-2 (Bell, Gurley, Hunt, Nuke, Wentz, ertz)- just putting up monster #s

Been probably my best year but you wonder if it'll fade.

your last team listed:  Holy Moley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

crazy year this year across my leagues...I'm 5-3 in both but i drafted luck in both so i have been working the waiver wire for my qb.  I have been really lighting it up with cutler/dalton/keenum/Manning (sarcasm).  I don't think i have over 10 pts from a qb yet.

I would say game scores are down 10-20% this at a minimum.  Typically we run in 120-150 pts per week for the good teams.  It's seems all teams this year are averaging at best 100pts with lots of 60-80pt weeks

Same holds true in my main league as well. In general, average scores in years past have been around the 110-115 mark, with great teams averaging between 125-130. The top team this year is averaging 118, with the bottom half of the league below or hovering right around 100 points. Definitely a down scoring year for our league.

I have achieved total mediocrity so far.  4-4 in three leagues.

My auction team is doing the best at 7-1.  Maybe I should do more auctions.................

8-0 Dynasty

5-3 Redraft (Lost Zeke and OBJ)  Piecing it together with trades.

6-2 Redraft (Lost Rodgers) non PPR.

10-6  Most important league.  Auction.  24 teams.  Two games each week.

6-2  Second most important league.

6-2  Third most important league.

6-2  Public auction league.

4-4  Fourth most important league.

3-5  Public auction league.

3-5  Dynasty league.

2-6  IDP league.

2-6  Auto draft friends league.

The ones I listed by importance are the one's I have money invested in.  They are also the most competitive leagues.  Overall I'm pretty happy with my year right now.  The leagues I'm not doing well in are ones I don't care about as much or put as much time in on so they don't bother me.  As long as I do well in all the money leagues I'm happy.

Dynasty: 5-3; just lost Zeke.  I think i can squeeze into playoffs, but not a real threat IMO

Redraft #1: 2-6; not that bad on paper, but can't buy a win

Redraft #2: 4-4; hope I can squeeze into playoffs

Redraft #3: 7-1; lost OBJ and Rodgers injury hurt my J. Nelson

Redraft #4: 5-3; my strongest team Gurley, Hyde, Evans, Diggs, Kelce

Redraft #5: 5-3; this team has a lot of depth

Redraft #6: 4-4; hope I can squeeze into playoffs

Dynasty:

8-0 #1 pts Gurley, Bell, Zeke, Coleman. Cooks, Hop, Green. Should be ok w/o Zeke

8-0 #1 pts Bell, Ingram, Green, Landry, Thomas, Cooks, Gronk, Beckham, Cook. Ok if remaining core stays healthy

7-1 #3 pts

6-2 #1 pts

6-2 #2 pts

6-2 #4 pts

5-3 #1 pts

5-3 #3 pts

5-3 #2 pts

5-3 #7 pts

5-3 #1 pts

5-3 #3 pts

5-3 #4 pts

4-4 #2 pts

4-4 #2 pts

4-4 #5 pts

3-5 #6 pts Zeke, looking like lost season

Redraft

7-1 #1 pts

Good year so far. Some really good teams, some in the middle. All have shot at playoffs. Have Zeke in 3 leagues including the redraft team which has been decimated by injuries.

After listing this out the conclusion I'm drawing is I'm in too many leagues and I need another hobby.

About the same as my plantar fasciitis. It’s painful, I’ve learned to manage it, and nobody actually wants to hear about it.

(5-3, 3rd Place, 2nd in points, unlikely to win it all)

3 12 man leagues. Top 3 scorer in all three yet I am 4-4, 4-4, 4-4.Very frustrating. In one of them I've  scored 150 more points than the guy who is 7-1

If you really want to know, visit the SNF or MNF game threads. They'll be sure to tell you....and PM Shuke.

6-2 and lost Cook and OBJ. Scrambling in the pocket but I keep winning!

I am in 2 dynasty leagues. 5-3 in one & 7-1 in the other. 1st place in 7-1 league & tied for 3rd in my division in the other. Still very much in the hunt as I'm only 1 game back, but w/bye week bs this week I may be 2 games back soon :(

Is it just me or a lot of people toward the top of their league in scoring but their record doesn't show it?  I know I have three teams where I'm the top scoring but I'm not in the lead.  That gets frustrating.

12 team Dynasty (league is in our 13th year)

7-1

Crushing it.

12 team redraft

3-5

My redraft team has been a #### show of under performance.

This is why I hate head to head. We are looking at simply doing total record each week against the entire league. Best record after week 16 takes the prize.  Eliminates that garbage. We are really looking into it big time for our 13 year dynasty league.

I don't mind head to head.  I know it's frustrating but that's how sports work.  It would suck if only the highest scoring teams won the championship every year.

I don't mind the best record against the entire league though.  That makes more sense.

this is why i took the league I run to doubleheader format a couple of years ago..

you submit 1 lineup and play H to H against 2 opponents each week so you still get that competition feeling and banter

My main league is a doubleheader format with 24 teams.  It's by far the most fun and competitive of all my leagues.

We run a regular schedule plus weekly "all play". The top 6 in scoring get an additional W and bottom 6 get a L. It makes it interesting and scoring points a little more important.

Man, I don't understand how some of you guys get any enjoyment of fantasy on a weekly basis with that volume of leagues. I play in TWO and still find myself rooting for and against at least 1 player per week usually.

Doing good in my 2 leagues. Both salary cap dynasties. Across the 2 leagues my core players are Wentz, Zeke, Gurley, Shady, Gordon, AB, ODB, Julio, Gronk, Cooks. So I'm mostly happy with my rosters, except the ODB injury, and ofc Julio is a little disappointing right now, although being PPR softens it.

I try to only do a few serious leagues and the rest I don't care all that much for.  The other teams I have are mostly because I love to do the drafts and to try other league formats.

I know it sucks needing so many different players but I'd rather have that then the same players on the same teams and risking that they all suck.  Gotta try different strategies and players to see which works best and try to win my total money invested back.

Just got a kick in the balls with my dynasty team......Deshaun Watson my prized 2.12 Rookie pick......done.

Well Big Ben.....need you to get in going for me.

This.  I'm in two leagues, and some weeks have to pull my hair out doing the "Oh SWEET, he scored... oh wait, ####, I'm playing AGAINST him in my other league," etc.  Add to that the actual fandom that I have for my real NFL team (the players for which I play against from time to time) and it gets to be a drag.

Dynasty: 7-1 (points lead).  Redraft: 4-4 (2nd in points).

Only in two leagues -

12 team Redraft League 1 (23rd year) - won the last 7 games last year to win the Championship (12-3-1), have started this year 8-0.  So on a 15 game winning streak and 20-3-1 since last year.

This team is so average yet has the most points scored.  Cousins, Gordon, Miller (Thompson for bye weeks), Crabtree, Nelson or Funchess, Ertz, Butker, Mack, Jordan, Burfict, Kirksey, E Kendricks, Church, Vaccaro (Addae sometimes).

12 team Redraft League 2 (2nd year) - best team I ever drafted - sitting at 5-3.

Brady, K Hunt, Ingram, Martin, Brown, Funchess, Gronk, Gostkowski, Mack, D Jones, Jack, Neal  (Prescott, Lockett, APeterson, Ogletree, Vernon Davis and Prater on the bench usually)

This team is 100 points ahead of the #2 scoring team, but has allowed 120 more points than the team that has allowed the second most points.

3 Leagues

Most Important League: 1-7 Keeper League (Lost Beckham, Rodgers, Sanders, Clay, even Dan Bailey. Drafted Watkins, Ajayi... just been terrible. Lost 3 of first 4 games by a combined 9 points. At 1-5 I traded away all my talent for auction bid money in next years draft.  Currently rolling with Dalton, Doctson, Pryor, Forte, Drake, Breida...Its not getting any better.)

2nd Most Important League: 6-2 (team is loaded everywhere except at QB - I have Roethlisberger). Likely will receive a bye entering playoffs.

3rd Most Important League: 6-2 (Lost David Johnson, Ty Montgomery). Likely will receive a bye entering playoffs.

Only 1 league these days.  It's a 10 teamer I've been in since 2000.  One keeper.  I had J. Howard as a 5th.  Somehow I'm 4-4 and in 5th place.  I lost D. Johnson, but Gurley and Dak have helped.  Only 2 teams looked good though and 1 just lost Watson.  WR is a dumpster fire this year, TE too.

Main league where I've been a contender almost every year since 2002, 7-9 (double headers) and rebuilding. Easily my worst year to date but a lot of that is my trading for the future.

New redraft, 6-2, looking pretty good although I'm weak at RB. Was able to avoid too many injuries so far.

New 10 team, 2qb dynasty where the plan was to build for the future, 6-2 but lost Rodgers and Watson. Now forced to start Mariota and Goff.

New Dynasty 2, 5-3 and looking pretty good. Thank you Kareem Hunt.

"Start once" league (pick a lineup every week, use players only once) horrible. In like 60th/96 place. :X

Oh, and I'm still alive in the FBG contest

This 2 QB redraft where I'm 7-1. Zeke, DJ, Luck, Watson, Reed. Might lose out here.
