Soooo, this was what I did this past Saturday (1 Viewer)

Too late now but, out of curiosity, can a 14-year old girl get an abortion in Delaware, or anywhere? Would it require parent's approval? I can't help but think how vastly different this story would have ended for two children who made a common mistake.
Im sure kids can still be given up for adoption.
I'm very much pro choice, but now that the baby has been born and is alive, it feels uncomfortable talking about eliminating its life to make the lives of the parents more convenient.
Adoption isn't a death sentence.

Can we be honest here?

I feel bad saying it, but this baby has zero chance at amounting to anything. Joe sounds doomed too - might just be best to accept it, move along and maybe provide guidance to those who still have a chance.
Not so fast! Joe still has a chance to play pro ball on the same team as Joe, Jr. - just like Ken Griffey and his kid

Baby Jordans tells me all I need to know. He made a mistake and he should pay for it, but those trying to defend the girl are reaching IMO.

My older sister (4 years older) had my niece when she was 17. I babysat a lot for her. That was more than enough birth control education for me.

extorted? How much money do you think Lil Joe is pulling in? Every cent he makes at this point should be for the kid.
It is. They want more. According to 'Joe's' parents, his check is pretty much signed and turned over to the girl every other Friday.
I'll bow out I guess. I just cant see how Joe is a victim here. He makes what he makes. They cant "want" with all their hearts. It doesnt change anything.
Yeah, bow out. How you can't see this kid is being victimized is incredulous and this kid's blackmailer should eat your testes. - :MikeTyson:

I don't it - with the vast array of free pron available today there's no excuse for knocking chicks up. When all you had was the National Geographic or Sears catalog, sure, take some chances, but now?

So you'd rather masturbate than have sex?

Adoption sounds like a viable solution!

That does sound like a viable solution to the current problem (they have a baby). Abortion would have been a viable solution to the original problem (unwanted pregnancy). And I'm not in here to argue about that. I was just curious whether some age/location restrictions might have ruled that out in this case.

I don't think anybody is defending the girl per se. Just some pointing out the wide range of gray area and, again, the truth in these situations almost always lies somewhere in the middle of the two sides of the story.

There are some things that cannot be fixed. Joe's situation is one of them. There isn't anything you can say that is going make a difference.

So what do baby Jordans tell you?

What's wrong with baby Jordans?
Well 60.00 dollars seems like a lot to spend on shoes an infant is going to outgrow pretty quickly especially when you seem to be depending on a 14 yr old with a part time job for financial support.
To be fair, we dont know if she bought them, stole them or was given them.

FWIW, shoes on babies that dont walk makes little sense....but thats the least of the issues in this case.

Ran into Joe last night. Crazy white trash girl and mom found out where he works and put on another show (thankfully I wasn't there for this one). From the sound of it, he's lucky the store manager was sympathetic and didn't fire him to be rid of the headache.
