Nah, man. Thought it was an interesting football story. We talk football in general here at times, right?

A Hall Of Famer from the Lions sang backup on What's Going On and Marvin Gaye once had a tryout with the Lions. The Lions have a history of that. Ever read Paper Lion by George Plimpton? 

Anyway, this would get stale awfully quick if we didn't discuss tangential stuff to football every so often. Perhaps if we had a thread where tangential links were encouraged, I would have posted it in there.
