Did anyone else hear this after the B Dawk speech when they run on the field....someone yells Bl@TT Bl@TT which is Gang slang for the Bl....ds Could this back up the theory of all the problems in Denver regarding tragic deaths..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

from urban dictionary....

BLATT

The Blood gang uses this as a kind of call to alert fellow Bloods that either they need them for something or just to establish that they see eachother like " Whaddup Blood."

You have to roll your toungue when you pronounce this.

The rival gang Crips also sometimes use the word "Clatt" as a form of disrespect to the bloods and to also alert their fellow crips too.

I saw my b^rother yesterday reppin that red, so I yelled "blatt" to him and he threw up them signs ya digg

Geez, where do you live OP? Pleasantville?

It's a gun shot sound not exclusive to gangs. Pow-Pow, Buck-Buck, Blaat-Blaat.... who really cares, these are football players. Guys have crip walked in the endzone before.

That terminology means sound of a gun and has been urban lingo for years. I doubt very seriously this has anything to do with the Bloods.

NO, street slang shows up in rap lyrics, people listen to rap music, rap music lyrics are adapted into mainstream and everyday life.

and  @ rover's comment

come down my way and yell that in the streets and see what happens
So, you really were afraid to type Blatt Blatt and make reference to Bloods.I kinda think gang members are doing more productive things with their time than reading fantasy football message boards.

Nice post cascaa. I'm interested anything gang related. I doubt anybody on the Broncos is currently involved with the Bloods, but one of them may have grown up around gangs and now yells out BLATT BLATT before heading into battle on Sunday.

Your neighborhood has the growing problem of professional football players mowing down innocent people in the streets? (btw 'mowing' meant murdering via the use of firearms in my personal gang slang just in case you were running for an urban dictionary)This is a group of grown men playing a violent game who use all kinds of terminology such as 'destroy' 'kill' 'crush' 'beatdown' and that's not even counting the overtly sexual slang for things they might do to the other team, which I will leave out for the little ears on this site. These guys use all kinds of language to fire themselves up for games and practices etc. I doubt in any of the above instances you would grab your dictionary only to be shocked to find out that the Broncos intend to actually end the other teams life or have sexual relations with the opposing team and their close relatives. It's ridiculous...and I mean that literally...not in the street slang way of saying you're really cool.
