Chicago's coaches seem to have finally figured out how to best use Field's skill set. Then they gave up on the season and let their best defenders go. Fins are clearly a playoff caliber team with a healthy Tua,but I'm calling upset Sunday so...

Da Bears- 33
Da Fins- 27

Inactives for Miami Austin Jackson
Myles
EZE
Skylar and
River
No Austin Jackson since about Week 1, incredible he can't get on the field from a very routine roll up the back of his legs.
I question his zest and love for football, I apologize.

I assume it's Jones at LG, Brandon is his name at RT?
I was hoping for a big ground game today, might have to wait a week until they get back to hard Rock for 2 weeks vs Cleveland and Houston, think there is a Bye week on the horizon.

Miami wins a close and well fought football game today, I do not see them blowing out the Bears and I think there is a 30-40% chance the Bears can take them today if they keep Tua and Offense cuffed to the bench. Look for Herbert and Monty to be heavily involved in a game of keep away.

Miami 23
Chicago 21

Sanders could play a pivotal role today, one of the better paid Kickers in the NFL.

Austin Jackson just off the IR and they’ve been happy with Shell. I suspect it’s what they’ll roll out until someone falters.

2 things...Chubb got good pressure but Miami did commit DPI #27

Claypool making his presence felt and seems to be sorely needed by the Bears offense thus far.

Props to the bears for trying to push the ball down the field, now they can run in the red zone

Game going well for the Bears early

Fields looking more confident, Claypool gives him another weapon, Fields looks like he knows exactly what he wants to do and maybe the Bears are about ready to turn him loose

Great job by Miami to bend not break and force Chicago into a FG attempt,

Not a terrible series for the Defense

Bears eat up 4 minutes

3-0

Mrs just discovered the beauty of a DPI-40 yd call, she thinks it's insanity that Hill can reach back and draw a flag, she asked why they don't just chuck it into the end zone every time

Imagine the first time you put 2 and 2 together and became a Down the Field advocate...why don't NFL Coaches seem to understand this?

And she's cooking chili right now for us, you gotta love Sundays in the NFL season

Chase Claypool is being "featured" IMHO, they seem set to want to use him

Lot of targets and they want defenses to respect him to open up those running lanes.

Bears are going to be a tough out the rest of way, Smith-no Smith on defense, they are going to be much better team moving forward.

Chubb holding that edge. Love it
I also would like to say, very critical or wanted to be but I am impressed with everything I have seen so far today from Chubb
Got pressure a couple times, was in the back field wrecking havoc holding the edge, Philips needs to take notes.

I said it would be a close game, I would be very pleased if Miami can force another FG try.

Miami only had to ball about 3:00 in the 1st Q but they look damn good when they were out there. Tua looked better than I have seen all season, looked in rhythm, looked comfrotable, looked calm, looked at ease, looked in control, looked confident, looked prepared, looked like he was being well coached.

Wonderful drive by the Bears, they worked hard and their game plan of keeping the Miami Offense on the bench is working

Miami has not really stopped the Bears today

10-7 start of the 2nd Q

Dolphins
2 Drives
2 Touchdowns!

Finishing the drives and scoring TDs is crucial, Miami has seen ZERO resistance so far and have mowed thru the Defense like Swiss, keep scoring, score quick, 28-20 early 3rd, who cares? Just keep scoring

Lots of motion by the CHI offense. Plus, you have to account for Fields' running every play. This offense has taken the next step.

Fields to Mooney

21-17 Miami

Bad news is Chicago scored but the good news is Miami will take the field on Offense, only 2 drives, maybe 6-7 minutes time of possession?

Fields looking good with more weapons and a good o-coordinator. He looks like the best of the QBs from 2021.
Fields is better than Wilson and probably Lance. Lawrence may still justify being the #1 pick of the draft. Do the Broncos regret not selecting Fields?
