Drew Pearson, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and now it's Terence Newman on gamedays.

ETA: As a kid, I had a Staubach and Dorsett but they weren't the real thing.

Also made my own D. Pearson jersey with my Mom's Artex (LOL), if anybody remembers that stuff.

Hilarious.

I kind of agree with this, unless you are wearing the jersey of a childhood hero. I wouldnt wear a current players jersey, but i saw a pretty nice retro Oilers Gretzky jersey that i would wear if it were given to me.(i would not spend $200 on it though)
 
Redskins

- Champ Bailey -- Bought this when he signed a long term deal. Figured he would be a Redskin for his whole career. That didn't work out for me and it's somewhere in the bottom of a box now.

Bought my wife a black Ed Reed. The jersey that is. I can't stand people wearing purple jerseys around this town. Especially men.

 
I had an Eric Dickerson Rams "away" jersey back in the 80's. I was a Steelers fan but loved Dickerson and the look of that jersey)

I still have an old Rod Woodson jersey that is pretty much worn out but I still wear it.

Used to have a Kordell Stewart jersey but threw that one out. Too embarrassing to even keep around even to wax the car with!

Going to a couple Steeler games 5-10 years ago, I saw guys walking around with Dirmonti Dawson jerseys and Josh Miller (punter) jerseys. Even saw guy with a long-snapper jersey (I think his name was Shneck or something like that). Those guys are the "real-deal" football fansl!!!!

I have the Sapp creamsicle jersey (which I've only worn a couple times while playing flag football).

The only other one I have is a home Cowboys jersey from the great #29, Kenny Gant. I might break it out once a year.

I wear a Scott Player jersey. Yep, the punter with the single bar goofy facemask. He was the Cardinals best player for years. Love it!

I have a Steelers coat, jacket, t-shirts and caps but no players jerseys. I am about to turn 50 and I think a greybeard like me would look silly wearing a players jersey. If I were still in my 30s I might wear one though.

I've found that some people comment on it when I wear mine. Some for Sapp, some for the old-school Buccaneers look. I also have a hat with the old look so I can party like it's 1995.

You could wear a throwback from those classic 70s teams. That was part of your era, right?
 
NAMATH - ALABAMA is the only football jersey I have.

I like baseball jerseys more...particularly the BP jersey. I have a Rays, Upton, and Longoria All Star in that.
