If you're the ultimate sports fan, Sports Jeopardy! is the game that gives you the challenge you've been preparing for all your life. Here's your chance to put your brains to the test. Adults can register for the Sports Jeopardy! Online Test, which takes place one night only on May 19th.

You must be registered in advance to participate in the Sports Jeopardy! Online Test. It only takes a few moments, but don't put it off until the day of the test.

The Online TestOn May 19th at 5pm Pacific Time registration will close for the online test. Registered applicants will return to sportsjeopardy.com and follow the prompts to login any time after 6pm Pacific. You will need your username and password created at the time of registration so keep them handy. No other links or confirmation numbers are needed. We encourage you to check your computer's compatibility beforehand by clicking here. When you are successfully logged in you will see the countdown clock. The test will begin at 7pm Pacific.

If you have misplaced your username, you can retrieve it by clicking here.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the instructions here.

If you have any other technical issues, please send an email to jthelp@support.jeopardy.com. Include a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing, your browser version, operating system and platform.

The Sports Jeopardy! Online Test consists of 30 different clues in 30 different categories. It is presented in a timed format, giving users 15 seconds to type their responses to each successive category and clue. Here are some important thoughts to keep in mind as you take the Online Test.

  • Do not phrase your responses in the form of a question.
  • The category is just as important as the clue. Always keep it in mind when coming up with a response.
  • Last names only will be acceptable unless the clue demands a more detailed response.
  • If you don't know the answer ... take a guess!
  • Whatever you have typed into the answer field will be captured at the end of 15 seconds. Partial and misspelled responses will receive consideration.
  • You can manually click the “Submit” button to go to the next clue, but we urge you to use any extra time to double check your response.
  • No time will be given at the end of the test for review.
The test is now accessible from tablets and smart devices, but we strongly encourage users to employ desktop or laptop computers with a stable keyboard and dependable internet connection. The test will only be given once. You will need:

  • Mac, PC, tablet, or smartphone
  • Reliable high-speed internet access for the duration of the test. If your connection is broken you will not be able to log back in.
  • If more than one person in the household is taking the test, they will each need their own computer or device.
*The Online Test is not compatible with AOL browsers.

You are not eligible to take the Sports Jeopardy! online test if you have previously appeared on Sports Jeopardy! with Dan Patrick, or if you have auditioned for Sports Jeopardy! within the past 18 months. Other eligibility rules may apply.

AuditionAll tests will be submitted to the Sports Jeopardy! contestant department for evaluation. Invitations to an in-person audition will be sent out up to six weeks in advance to eligible applicants who have passed the test. Depending on the number of appointments available, a random selection process may be used.

The ShowIf you pass the test and are selected to participate in an in-person audition, you are officially in the pool to be selected as a contestant for up to 18 months from the date of your audition.

Good luck!

I think I got around 25, I know I missed the Friday nite lights thing, the woman gold medalist from 1988, the summer Olympics venue....

No way I did well enough. Completely blanked on domestic violence, put spousal abuse knowing it was wrong. 15 seconds to read and type seemed very fast.

21/30 here. knew all but 3 (goose tatum, friday night lights, summer olympic venue order) and just blanked or choked on the other 6 with the clock ticking down.

Looks like a lot of people got the regular test instead. facebook page getting a lot of complaints/comments. They may have to fire Alex over this

I don't do Facebook, but I know I had around 25........ I knew goose, howe, domestic violence. one answer was usain bolt I hope. the bikini question I guessed volleyball women's?
