SRO at Fenway (1 Viewer)

I've been to Fenway a few times and have always had seats. Is SRO worth it? Is there a kind of pavillion where you stand, small areas throughout the park or are you basically a seat filler and have to resort to empty seats. Would 6 people be able to stand together?

I've done it a bunch of times. There are some designated SRO areas you need tickets specifically for (Monster, Right Field Roof, etc), and then a generel standing area around the perimeter of the park. Should be no problem finding a spot to stand with a group of six if you get there on time, the earlier you get there the better. I'd say worth it overall if you have no other options.

Yes it is worth it.

Most people don't even go to fenway to watch the game, they go because they want to be seen and ignore the game and hang out on the street. There are always good empty seats if you have the sack to sit in them.

Good point - much better than RF Grandstand or Bleachers if you actually want to watch the game.

Yes it is worth it.

You can almost always sneak down and find decent seats if you dont want to stand.
