Can't decide. I usually don't like 3D because it's not as bright and clear as 2D and the 3D usually isn't worth it. With the exception of Avatar I don't know if I've ever seen a 3D movie that I thought was really worth it, not even for the money, but for the cost of wearing the glasses and having a dimmer seeming movie.

But Star Wars is such a big event I'm considering it. I'll probably just try to see it in Imax though.

Apparently, it was shot in 2D and converted and only has one scene shot with an actual IMAX camera.

2D unless I hear from credible sources that the upgrade is worth it.

Really liked 3D for Avatar but it was the only one of the recent movies that was worth it. Got burnt out and haven't seen one in 3D in years. Slightly regret not seeing Gravity in 3D but that's been the only one.

Seeing it in something called dbox tonight. Not excited about it but it's also the only guaranteed seats I could find. Not interested in waiting in a line.

Star Wars 2D but in Paris. That adds some cool factor. Just hoping to find a theater that shows only English no subtitles. Don't think that will happen so will just have some annoying French subtitles all over screen.

DBOX is sitting in a chair that moves a bit with the film. You have better speakers in the back/top of the chair. Kinda '4D.' Fun, not sure if it's worth the extra $$$, although assigned seats are sweet. Also the DBOX are usually in good positions for viewing.

Really don't like wearing 3D glasses for an entire movie so 2D for me. My preferred movie viewing option is at home using my projector but will probably see SW in the theater.

There are several theatres that show English only movies in Paris. Not sure about Star Wars, tho.

Not a fan of non-IMAX 3D as it seems like unless I'm in the center the views are generally off. But the IMAX 3D was pretty good for this and I'd certainly recommend anyone going to go to the same format.
