Do I start/sit D Holland today vs BOS?

Boston got crushed last night, and their offense has been pretty weak lately.

Roll the dice, or let him ride he pine?

OK should I start Nicasio vs PIT or Minor vs LAD? Leaning Minor since hes been on fire. Should I start both of them and bench one of my closers (Marshall & Johnson)? Its a pts league, W = 12, S = 10, QS = 5, L = -5, IP = 1, ER = -1, K = 1

Yes, but Garcia has some awful road splits.

If you can't feel comfortable starting him against the Cubs then you should trade or cut him.

Definitely start Minor, he's been on fire and so have Atlanta's bats. Personally, I'd start Nicasio and bench a closer, closers are just so volatile week to week. You at least know Nicasio is going to pitch and there's a decent shot at a QS + W

Thats what I was thinking. Which closer should I bench? They both have easy matchups and both play 6 games. Johnson has been the best pt producer in my league besides Kemp so far so hard to bench him.

Max has great career numbers vs both teams.... Not so sure it's over-thinkingV SEA: 4-0 2.00 ERAv NYY: 3-0 2.84 ERAThis is a points league, so not overly worried about ratios.

Max is not pitching well. Inconsistentcy is the name of his game, but until he puts together a quality outing I wouldn't consider him over Hamels unless he draws a Seattle and an Oakland type in the same week.

FWIW I'm benching Holland vs the Yankees tonight. To many savvy hitters in that lineup and most of them have gotten the best of Holland so far in his career.

FWIW I'm benching Holland vs the Yankees tonight. To many savvy hitters in that lineup and most of them have gotten the best of Holland so far in his career.

he'll be on my bench tonight as well...almost guaranteeing a complete game shut out.
 
The Braves are targeting Tim Hudson (back) to come off the disabled list Sunday against the Pirates.As expected. Hudson had a 4.50 ERA and 5/4 K/BB ratio in 12 innings over three minor league rehab starts and is well worth adding wherever available, especially with the tasty matchup against the light-hitting Buccos. Randall Delgado appeared vulnerable to lose his spot upon Hudson's return, but he'll stick around for a little longer now that Jair Jurrjens has been demoted to Triple-A Gwinnett.

2 of Hosmer, Encarnacion, or Headley tonight. Headley currently on the bench. He has the toughest matchup against Gonzalez, imo. Thoughts?

Easy call. Cubs may be "streaking," but they've only scored more than 3 runs once in their last 8 games.
