"Start every Lion I have" - Anyone else thinking this today? (1 Viewer)

My feeling is that Martz is going to show his old fan base how good he really is. He obviously isnt the coach of the Lions, but Im sure he will be calling some big plays out there.

That said, with the cutting of Corey Bradford, my sleeper of the week is: Mike Furrey

I dont see him having a crazy game, just a respectable WR2/3 game of 80/1

The Rams defense has been surprisingly pretty good this year so I'm not sure. That said, Stl should put up a decent amount of points so Detroit will be forced to play catch up IMO.

Funny, I was just thinking about starting every Ram I could get hold of :lmao:

Actually I tend to agree with you in that I think this could be a big shootout and both sides will be scoring a lot of points

Need Martz to get out there and block some of those blitzing Rams.......... ;) I think the Lions will squirt off a big play or two, but the Rams D is playing better than their stats show. In St Louis, its going to be hard to audible - not to mention the defense has been watching the best in the biz run this offense for a while. I'm guessing that the Rams are going to be hard to fool.

:goodposting: i have couple of lions and i benched them... road game plus the rams d has looked pretty good. denver did nothing, san fran won but didn't light up the scoreboard, and arizona, even though they self-destructed more than anything, didn't do much either. however i think it could be a coming out party for the rams passing game finally.

Gore went for 29 / 127 / 1 against STL. James went 24/94/1 against STL. Tatum Bell went 15 / 103 / 0 against STL. Seems like going with KJones would be a decent idea, given STL ground D so far.

Ok, So am I crazy?

I have KJ and S Jax. I am def. starting W. Dunn against Arizona, but im leaning towards K jones over my #1 pick! though its early to say, Detroits run D is actually looking decent, orlando pace is out, and St. Louis rn D is not looking too hot?

Someone please tell me im not crazy here ???

I think you'd be crazy to start Jones over Jackson.

This is a linehan offense, and it's only a matter of time before they explode and start scoring 30-35pts a game.

Conversely, these are the lions, and it's only a matter of time before they give up on their coach and implode.

Who would you start Kitna over?? Not too many QB#1 would I even consider it. Curry, Williams, and Jones are only decent starts if you are weak at RB or WR. On my team, no way would Kitna, Curry or Williams even be a consideration.

Even being a Lions fan, I ask, "WHAT?!" Why would you start every Lion you have? They haven't shown us much, hence their 0-3 start (AGAIN). Outside of Roy Williams and maybe Kevin Jones, I won't start anyone else, unless I'm faced with starting a Lion or someone on IR......

:goodposting: Ronald Curry is not going to do anything versus St. Louis today :D

who the #### is "curry"?

I am starting Kitna over Alex Smith and Andrew Walter but I am not really excited about it.

Chiefs veteran corner backs and improved defensive play makes me shy away from Smith and I want to see Walter be productive before I consider him even though I am starting Moss this week.

If I could trade out of this headache I would but stuck with it for now.

Kitna was huge for me last week. Maybe he can do it again.

I don't see Kevin Jones doing much on the ground against the Lambs.

All these Rams fans are nuts, do they really think the St. Louis Defense is good?? I am starting QB Kitna (#2 QB), RB K Jones (#3 RB) and WR R Williams (#3 WR). Did anyone see the Lions offense lighting it up last week? I expect more of the same as they get more comfortable with the Martz offense!

My other starters, QB P Manning, RB's Rudi Johnson and Westbrook, WR's M Harrison and L Coles. I have left F Taylor and R Moss on my bench.

Like most weeks where I don't need a bye filler, I'm starting Roy Williams, but not Kevin Jones. KJ could have a good day, but I have LT and Westbrook and you can't bench them.

Kitna remains on the waiver wire in my leagues. I've been tempted to find a spot for him and will watch closely what he does today.

Starting Kitna over Lefty today ... left hope for a blowout!

SJax is #4 in the league in yards from scrimmage per game. KJ is #24.Not that it should make a difference, both are pretty good.

We can add 19/93/2 for KJ to that list.
