How have people done with managing 2 QB in the dynasty format? Do people try to horde backup QBs? Have there been instances of people getting stuck with 1 QB very often?
I am in a 10 team dynasty league that starts 2 QB's, and yes, people horde backup QB's. we actually use a super flex, and if you aren't starting 2 QBs its a real disadvantage. That means you need to have at least 3 starters rostered to cover bye weeks, and with 6 pt passing TD's no managers in my league were stuck without at least 3. i think the addition of the 2 QB/superflex rule was the best addition we've made to our league. it really takes a lot of emphasis off of RB's and places it upon the most important position in the game. with 12 teams i could see there being some serious issues for some owners being without a QB so I would run with the superflex for the 12 team league.
Well, it's a dynasty so some teams have a lot and others have barely any. One team started off with only Cpep as their QB and took Losman third overall. Then there's another team with four starters (Rivers, Grossman, Roth, and Rexy) and they're looking to move a QB. Another team is offering some really good players (Holt, TO, D-Will) for QB help. Basically if you get into a rut you're going to have to trade your way out of it. I now have Leinart, Eli, Alex Smith, and Stanton, so I'm feeling pretty good. I like to have two solid starters, one backup starter, and a project. Obviously Stanton is the project.
