Predicting Tom Brady and the Patriots demise this week based solely on last weeks performance isn't very smart.
First of all, Payton Hillis is the first and only RB to put up over 90 yards against that mediocre rush defense, so assuming Mendy is going to do something Adrian Peterson couldn't is a bit of a stretch.
Surely you jest, right? Wow. Let me take a sec' to compose myself. "demise?" "solely?"1.) I could care less if your Pat's win, lose, or tie. Let's make that quite clear. So I don't know where you got your "demise" from.
2.) You probably want to slowly and methodically read the post in question before haphazardly tossing out words like "solely."

Rashard Mendenhall's upcoming schedule has four good match-ups (New England, Buffalo, Cincinnati and Carolina).

According to Pro Football Focus, Rocket Rashard generated 66 percent of his yards after contact. The Steelers will have to rely on Mendenhall more heavily going forward due to LT Max Starks' year-ending neck injury. The Pats have also been obliterated by running games in back-to-back weeks, letting up 218 total yards and two TDs to Minnesota backs in Week 8, before Peyton Hillis' 220-total yard, two-score thrashing last week. They've plummeted to 21st in the run defense rankings.
Need I go on?
Second, the Steelers aren't really all that great against the pass, while the Pats have an excellent passing offense.
The Steelers haven't exactly been world beaters the past few weeks, looking like crap against the Saints and letting the Bengals, for the most part, have their way with them through the air.
And lastly, the Pats have only lost back to back games twice in the past 8-10 years, so another uninspiring game this week isn't very likely.
However, the Steelers are at home and they are a solid defense, but I expect both the Steelers Defense and Tom Brady to do very well this week, so if I were the OP, I wouldn't hesitate a bit starting both.
Again refer to the aforementioned passage, regarding their pass defense. Who said that their pass defense exclusively, was all that great?By now, you've got me and my Shih Tzu 'Shaggy' looking at each other and sleepily yawning.
So what you're telling me is....... They've lost back-to-back games before. Right? There ya go. 'Nuff said.
I'm working at the FireHouse for 24 hours on Sunday. I'll get back to ya Monday and read what you have to say on how you guys made out.
Oh yeah....... For a guy who's team got away with the most shining example of highway thievery, you sure are pretty testy.
Like somebody is personally attacking your team. Who cares? This is fantasy football, not a popularity contest. And yes, I was referring to 'The Great Snow Heist.'

I appreciate the responses guys. To the poster who told me to stop "over thinking" it because its fantasy football, well what the hell are you doing on a fantasy football board to begin with?
This is a completely valid issue that I'm sure a lot of other owners grapple with. I am gonna roll with Brady and the Steelers. Other options this week are Cutler and Shaun Hill, and I'm not confident enough in either to throw in over Brady.
That's cool...... Brady it is. Just know that only one team (Indy) passes more early and more often than the Lions. Also, Buffalo is pretty tight with yardage allowing a 6th best 193 yards, however, they are last in the league at TD-INT ratio, giving up 17 TDs to 1 INT. I'd personally go Shaun Hill. Like Arnold, I'll be back to check you out.
