Starting a Superflex League - rules help (1 Viewer)

Hey, everyone. I'm planning to start up a new 'superflex' league. However, all I know about it is that you can start two QB's. What are the general league / roster rules that you recommend for a superflex league?

Everything is the same, except you start 2 QBs.

Is the 2nd QB just another one of the FLEX positions, then?
Ya exactly. Some leagues have 2 QB starting spots which makes QBs even more valuable than SF (not a lot, but a little bit, as you'll almost always start a QB in a flex spot)

So you can have 2 flex spots, with one being QB/WR/RB/TE and the other just being WR/RB/TE, or just have 1 flex spot with QB/WR/RB/TE. My preference is option 1.

We have two flexes - agree it’s much better because it gives you an opportunity to leverage other position strengths if you don’t have a great QB crew. Can’t use 3 QBs though, which I think most leagues go with.

You could do what one of my leagues does and do Super Duper Flex

Starters
1 QB
1 RB
1 WR
1 TE
1 Superflex

This makes QBs as valuable to a fantasy team as they are in real life. The first round is usually 9-10 QBs. A bit lopsided.

I would hate this lol

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
R/W/T
Q/R/W/T
K
DEF

With the option of having 3 instead of 2 wr spots, but i prefer 2, especially if full ppr.
This is my Superflex league’s lineup except that there are 3 WR spots.
Like these options as well.

I also like adding TE Premium scoring (1.5 ppr for TEs) which gives you a few different ways to build a contending team. Imho.

They key is to make all positions equal with respect to scoring. By that I mean similar numbers of positions in the top 50 scorers etc. The scoring shouldn't mandate you have to start a QB in the SF or be at a big disadvantage.

I'm in a Superflex that nerfs QB rushing yards (half the points of a RB) and QB rushing TDs (5 points). 6 point TDs and 4 point penalty for interceptions.

It makes things more interesting and less chalk (usually around 10 QBs drafted in the first 3 rounds).

you want to setup the scoring the top qbs score close to the top wr and rbs. even better if the top lb and de are close as well.
This makes the draft and trades more fun in my opinion as everything is balanced so it gives owners options.
