Starting both Bells? (1 Viewer)

this Bell situation is killing me softly....

but I watched all of the Denver game last week...and it was obvious that something was very wrong with Tatum....he couldn't cut at all...M. Bell made it look too easy...

Until Tatum is 100%....I suggest going with Mike...that's what I'm doing.

I would not go Tatum Bell with a ten foot poll. Mike Bell all the way.

Yup. It's my hope the Broncos hold out Tatum and give his injuries a week to rest. As far as starting them both you're just asking for trouble in my opinion. I think Mike Bell could be a solid RB2 this week but there's nothing positive I can project for Tatum. Most of his comments this week have been far from encouraging and I think you're just asking for trouble if you start both of them.Just my two cents.

you must have watched that game. You pick one per week and hope you don't mess up. Your other RB should be better than either of the Bells anyway...?

I'm not so sure about that. The starting RB in Denver has been proven to be a Top 10-15 (at least) fantasy producer. If Mike Bell's getting the bulk of the carries this week he's definitely a good starting option in my opinion - against any defense. If I was a Mike Bell owner I'd be very comfortable starting him this week. I wouldn't be worried about Tatum at all and the Broncos have proven they can run the ball on any defense so I wouldn't be overly concerned about the Steelers either. I would expect him to get 75+ yards with a good shot at a touchdown. This should be a close, low-scoring game which means he'll get plenty of carries. The sheer volume of attempts alone should help him generate quality yardage. TDs are obviously tougher to project but he's shown that he's pretty good at the goal line.

This week will tell a lot. Right now it's a crapshoot with a lean towards Mike Bell, because anything can happen, especially in Denver. If/when Tatum returns to health and Mike Bell hasn't taken the league by storm (like all denver RB replacements do) then Tatum might have some value in time for the playoffs.

Can I make myself any clearer? ;)

You're gonna start both Bells against the Steelers in Pittsburgh? Good luck with that.
