Starting Justin Blackmon Wk 5 Over ______________ (1 Viewer)

started him in the 2 leagues I had him. He's going to be getting good garbage time stats and he looked great in the preseason. I think he'll be a nice wr this year.

He'll have his down games I'm sure, just based on the offense he plays for...but he's earned the WR3 spot in front of Stevie Johnson and Dwayne Bowe on my team, that's for sure.

I started Shorts over him and came out with a win as long as Gonzo doesn't go for 40 tonight. That being said, I might ride him as a flex every week. I see more boom or bust out of him than steady eddie, Cecil Garbage Man, Shorts, but he should be a solid play...

Borderline WR1 numbers on his good days, average to low WR2 numbers on his bad ones. Quality of "day" should be somewhat predictable by matchup. Solid WR2 ROS.

I'm ecstatic about his first game, especially given that the rest of my WRs absolutely stink. I'll likely be playing Blackmon in my WR2 spot the rest of the way.

I started him all three leagues I have him; very happy with how it went. And one of my teams had a rough start thanks to Trent Richardson and Dwayne Bowe, so Blackmon's return and explosion was much needed!

Is this a trap game? I'm hearing everyone saying Blackmon is going to get a lot of garbage points. What if he ends up with like 5pts lol.

Dodds even has him as the #1 overall WR this week :o

I'm going back and forth with starting Blackmon or Antonio Brown @NYJ

So if people are projecting a good game, then automatically assume it may be a trap? Talented player, no Gabbert at QB, and they will be playing from behind against a putrid pass defense. I can't really think of any negatives, so what you you skeptical of? Or is it just for the sake of being skeptical?

I have both of these as well. Assuming Cromartie will be on Brown - I'd go Blackmon. I mean Jacksonville has to chuck it being 20+ points down by the time the fans drink their first Coors..

Having a REAL hard time choosing which WR to bench in my non-PPR: Blackmon, Marshall, Gordon, or Cruz.

Now if only my RBs were better than Spiller and Sproles :bag:

Starting Blackmon over Fitzgerald without confidence. Feels awful, but I can't see Fitz doing well against the Niners, while Blackmon could have 200 yards receiving in catch up mode against Denver's mop up up crew.

Bump. Who had the onions?
I got yer onions right here, bub (not that I had much of a choice). I even picked up Kris Durham (and started him) when Calvin was inactive. Marlon Brown, Miles Austin, and Calvin out, and Antonio Brown on bye. Ended up with a big win.

I have him in over Cobb right now. The Ravens have been pretty stout against WRs, and you have to think the Jags will be throwing all night....then throwing some more.
