We are nearing the point of the offseason in which many startup dynasty drafts are held. In the next three weeks leading up to the NFL draft, I will be posting a series of polls asking about how you see this year's dynasty drafts unfolding.

The polls will be based on the following lineup in a 12 team league-

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex (RB, WR, TE) K, D

As far as scoring, assume 4 points for passing TDs and PPR for all positions.

If you vote for other, please post and let us know who you voted for.

(1.01) 1. Ladanian Tomlinson

(1.02) 2. Steven Jackson

(1.03) 3. Larry Johnson

(1.04) 4. Reggie Bush

(1.05) 5. Frank Gore

(1.06) 6. Brian Westbrook

(1.07) 7. Clinton Portis

(1.08) 8. Joseph Addai

(1.09) 9. Laurence Maroney

(1.10) 10. Larry Fitzgerald

(1.11) 11. Peyton Manning

(1.12) 12. Willie Parker

(2.01) 13. Maurice Jones Drew

(2.02) 14. Ronnie Brown

(2.03) 15. Adrian Peterson

(2.04) 16. Steve Smith

(2.05) 17. Rudi Johnson

(2.06) 18. Chad Johnson

This is where it starts to get tough, as most of the truly blue chip players are gone. I went with Holt because you know what you're going to get: elite speed and hands, prolific offense, high receptions. He should be good for at least 2-3 more years of top 5 production.

Although I like Palmer, taking a QB here is just a bit early for my taste. I really couldn't argue with Gates though. Johnson seems to have all the goods, but I'd like to see a guy on an NFL field before taking him so high.

Can we get Roy Williams, Boldin, Evans and Andre Johnson added to the WR's? I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd rather have any of them over Holt, CJ2, or Wayne.

The problem here is that the WR and especially the RB votes are becoming too spread out, so Palmer is winning by default, but he likely wouldn't go this early in an actual draft. Maybe he would though.

i think you're right. plus, the people voting for palmer must not have read the scoring format, or are totally ignoring it.

Agreed, they are in the same tier as the other WR's already in the poll.

I agree with you, but I'm not sure how to fix it for these polls. In almost any league you are in, there will be an owner that takes Wayne, CJ2, Holt etc. over Palmer at this spot.

Think I'd do a runoff between Palmer and whichever WR scores the highest among them.

if the leader doesn't receive at least 1/3 of the votes, have a runoff of the top 3. that will consolidate the RB / WR votes

With Reggie the RB/WR at RB1 for this team's pick, I would have hoped for a strong RB at this slot.

I went with Manning's Reggie though.
