In the 4th Quarter Russell Wilson ran for 18 yards to the 17 of the NYG then fumbled. The ball bounced around and the Seahawks eventually recovered at the the 24 of the NYG. On this play if you track all of Russell Wilson's statistics I realized he was only credited for 11 yards rushing for this play. In other words, the 7 yards lost on the fumble recovery went against Wilson's statistics.
This is is the play in question
1-10-NYG 35
(9:20) (Shotgun) 3-R.Wilson right end to NYG 17 for 18 yards (35-Q.Demps). FUMBLES (35-Q.Demps), recovered by SEA-78-A.Bailey at NYG 24. 78-A.Bailey, dead ball declared at NYG 24 for no gain.
Is this the correct interpretation?
