I heard it said by some Chicago Bears analyst on the radio last week that clubs that have three straight road games do not make the playoffs very often. The reason he mentioned it was because of the Bears' 2006 schedule:
November 12th: @ Giants
November 19th: @ Jets
November 26th: @ Patriots
The guy wondered if the Bears should just set up a base camp in the northeast for the month of November and not fly back home at all.
Anyway, if anyone has heard anything about this stat, or wants to actually do some research on it at:
