Jordan can't be considered my SOD - I picked him up off the WAIVER WIRE :reche: :headbang: (of course it's only an 8-team league)I'm thinking Braylon Edwards may prove to be my best laterish pick in both my leagues.I still have faith that Rivers will pick it up.-QG

Delhomme, easily, is one.

I also think Isaac Bruce, who was drafted way late, if at all, and almost always after Drew Bennett, has put up really good numbers so far too.

He hasn't played a down yet, but KJ in the 12th might really help me overcome some mistakes I made in a PPR league. That's what I'm hoping for, anyway.

In my 12 team PPR Redraft with 6 pt per passing TD QB's were at a premium and went off the board very quickly.

I decided to go a different route and ended up with Romo in Round 6.

He's the #2 player in my league

Obviously you guys dont know football because Delhomme is not a steal at all. S.Smith got a lucky last minute long td. Delhomme could be out of there real soon.

MJD in the 16th round!

Oh wait...that was last year.....

OK...This year I got Curry in the 14th round (12 team 3 person keeper league)

In my main league, he is the 4th rated QB. Take away that long TD pass, and he is rated #5. He was drafted in the 12th round, so that is certainly good value. From an NFL perspective, all I have heard from my Carolina people is that he is further entrenched as the starter now than he was at the beginning of the season. The offense is performing well, the defense had a letdown against Houston.

 He is currently tied with Carson Palmer in my auction league. Palmer cost $30, Delhomme $2

Too Early For this.... but so far its got to be Portis.
I have Portis, he's been good, not great, he's on my bench behind LT, Edge.......I might have to sit Edge this week VS Bal. Portis has 1 TD each week, but last nights game he was very average before his TD, and losing lots of carries to Betts. EDGE was more of a SOD

Portis had 63% of the carries, Betts 22% and Sellars 15%. Portis also averaged over 4 ypc. This is way better than the 50/50 split with Betts last week. He has officially taken the #1 spot back on that team. Sure there were carries where he was shut down, but he looked pretty good in the 2nd half of that game with some bigger runs. For a 5th/6th rounder in all three of my leagues, I have been thrilled with Portis so far. In my main league, he has been a great compliment to my Stud WR approach this year. Having Romo doesn't hurt either... My SOD's so far (14 teamer):Andre Johnson - 4th roundPortis - 4th roundRomo - 5th roundWitten - 10th round

In an auction league...

$1 Jake Delhomme

$1 Ron Curry

$1 Antwaan Randle El

Of course I dumped Curry and Randle El before the season started, and Delhomme has been on my bench scoring more points then my starter, but I'm 4-0 (2 games a week) with the second most points, so please stop worrying about me, it'll be OK.

This being a New England league the price for Randy Moss went up, but I was determined to get him. Ended up costing $40 (out of $375 with 22 positions, or 10.667%).

Romo was highly rated going in, and went at about what he's been worth.

Marion Barber went low, and is our league's the highest scoring RB so far, as did Lamont Jordan.

It might be early to consider him a steal, but I took Matt Schaub late in the draft as my backup, and he is a top 10 QB at the moment (in our scoring). I'm actually considering starting him over Brees until NO can straighten out their offensive issues

Ni

;ast year it was Chester Taylor in the 11th, this year so far it is Lamont Jordan in the 10th.

League 1 (10 man)

Edge 5th

Caddy 6th

Winslow 11th

Big Ben 12th (#117 of 120)

League 2 (10 man)

Caddy 6th

Eli 15th

Curry 17th

League 3 (12 man)

Romo 8th

RANDY MOSS.

Went mid/late 5th round or later in every one of my leagues. People were avoiding him like the plague, and those who rolled the dice are reaping the benefits.

I think that it might be you who doesn't know about football....1. Steve Smith is good and will get some extra yards and TDs that not all WRs in the league are good enough to get. Delhomme gets to throw to him.2. Last minute long TDs count every bit as much as first minute long TDs. Would you say LT2 is lucky week 1 cause he rushed for only 25 yds but still had a TD rush and a TD pass? No, cause that is a reason why he is good - he can score at any time. Smith's ability to make big plays helps Delhomme's numbers and will help during the entire season, not just for one play in week 2.3. Delhomme still has 5 TD passes aside form this one. Taking one play away won't make a huge difference. Comments like this really bug me.

Good value thus far:

QB: Romo, Delhomme

RB: Jordan, Lewis

WR: Moss, Edwards, AJ (assuming he doesn't miss much)

TE: Winslow, Witten

Def: Vikings

12th round Brandon Marshall

10th Rothlisberger, Dallas Clark

9th Brett Favre, Lamont Jordan

8th Issac Bruce, Jason Witten

7th Baltimore, Kellen Winslow Jr., Chicago

6th Braylon Edwards

5th Driver, Andre Johnson, Tony Romo

4th TJ, Randy Moss, Adrian Peterson

3rd Tom Brady

2nd Steve Smith

I few not yet mentioned (12 team leagues)...

Kitna - 7/8 (six times)

Cutler - 11 (twice)

S. Smith - middle of the 3rd (CBS leagues had him real low)

A. Johnson - 5 (twice)... mentioned already but in the 4th

Coles - 7

EDIT: Sorry, I was typing when a few of those came up.

Betts got 5 carries
You are correct, it was 6 carries, but Betts was in more than I would have liked, had some targets, and had playing time, not just spelling CP. I didn't know carries were 17 - 6 when I posted earlier.

Moss is and will continue to be the steal of the draft. All the others are nice value plays, which is important, but Moss has the potential to be season changer.
