**Steelers at Patriots**(+2.5, 44.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Such an interesting game for the Pats...right now they are 1-1 with a dud against the Raiders at home and a nice but by no means pretty win against Miami which carries far more weight than a normal win because of the Pats history at Miami and the hole they are currently trying to dig out of...if they are able to figure out a way to win against the Steelers that would be a very big step for this team and they would be 2-1 with a winnable game at home against the Panthers the following week...if they lose in a close one that is cleaner than the past two games that is also acceptable as long as they follow it up with a solid performance and W against Carolina...what I don't want to see is a repeat of the second half of the Raiders game...that would be a real let-down...they just need to keep moving forward in a positive way.

Steelers can't stop the run. Or the pass. Hopefully Maye does dumb stuff.
Did I hear that 8 games, 10 games in a row they've allowed like 30 points?
I'd have to look this up

-They are not allowing a lot of rushing yds the first couple weeks, the defense overall looks pretty solid just looking at the numbers
Feels like a low scoring game
20-17 either way

This feels like another game where the OVER feels likely to hit.

Neither team has a very good run D, and NE's secondary has some issues, especially if Gonzalez is out again.

I think Jaylen Warren has another really nice game, and I think DK can get deep.

Steelers cover.

Christian Gonzalez ruled OUT for Sunday's game. Rodgers and Metcalf should feast on the Patriots' secondary.

Gotta possess the ball to do that.

Their defense isnt stopping anybody at the moment. If NE is even below average at running the ball, theyll likely double up Pitty on TOP. "Run away from Watt/Heyward = profit."

unpacking my earlier comments, a key difference to me is that Pittsburg's defense is supposed to be better than it has been whereas NE's defense is about where you'd expect (given that Gonzo is out). our d line is borderline great, linebackers are trash and secondary isnt competitive without gonzo. There's a pretty good chance PIT figures out its issues tomorrow in which case it will be a very long day for NE. only saving grace is the PIT injuries.

Steelers defense is absolute trash. NE will put up 30 I'm sure.

They have a bunch of good players on defense.

I drafted the PIT defense figuring they would be solid. They have absolutely sucked from a FF perspective and I dropped them this week. They haven't exactly played an elite team yet either. 30+ points to the Jets and Seahags. Ugh

Technically they only gave up 24 against the Seahawks but your point t is spot on. The defense has been horrible thus far

Pats in the throwbacks unis.
You may hear some nostalgic babble today about how attractive these uniforms are. Don't fall for it.
These were always lame looking. And most people's first association with these unis is being the final course in the 1985 Bears meal.

These historical uniforms are good. Better than their current ones.
