**Steelers at Jets**(+2.5, 38) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Ppl are going to be surprised by the Steelers offense this year, especially the posters before this comment. The Steelers win by a lot here, I'm calling it. And DK Metcalf beats up Sauce Gardner celebrating his 3rd TD

12-10, ugly game. The better defense wins it for the Steelers. Under is a lock.
Like I said, Steelers by 2.

Glad I watched some of that. Nice to see good QB play (from both Fields and Rodgers) and very happy I'm not a betting man.

jets played to lose. the best they could muster up was a fields up the middle with the ball, the lead and 4 mins left. their short yardage calls were suspect. especially the 2 pointers. the jets lose, it’s what they do. one day they’ll win a game like this and return to relevancy. maybe 2029. they get another home loss next week and march towards the 12 th overall pick, landing on 5-12 with some late morale boosting wins that no one cares about.

What a great game.

I thought both teams played well. Rodgers did about exactly what I thought he would. Cerebral and a 2nd offensive coordinator on the field. He is dreadfully slow if he has to move much. But if he can have enough time, it's going to be interesting.

I was impressed with how much he spread the ball to Austin and the TEs. He talked about this being hte best TE group he's ever played with in his career. I liked that he went back to Metcalf immediately after a bad drop.

I thought Fields played well too. I know Jets fans hated Rodgers and I can see why they'd be happy with Fields. He's dynamic and can make things happen with his feet.

Also seemed a good reminder of how defense and special teams are so key. The Boswell kick was incredible and Jalen Ramsey ending the game with a fantastic hit and tackle seemed fitting.

All good points, Joe. The issue, as Steeler fans will tell you, is that historically the O line doesn’t give Steeler QBs time. Witness 15 years of Big Ben running for his life. Rodgers is smarter and savvier and gets rid of the ball like he’s holding lightning, but the clock is already ticking on him taking some big hits. Only saw one today which was crucial to their success on offense.

if the jets didn’t pressure rodgers, guys were running open all over the field all day. stephens is dreadful, which really is no surprise. 3/45 is the number, but it’s already time to cut your losses. gipson needs to clean out his locker. he’ll probably drop stuff on the way out.
