Stephen King's "Under the Dome" coming to CBS (1 Viewer)

Also, I'm still waiting for that damn dog to have some kind of significance.

It's way too prominent not to have some upcoming planned plot purpose.
the dog seems to be like the German Shepherds in Terminator where they can sense normal people to possessed people. Figure that has to come into play at some point.

Some dog food company should hire that dog and air an ad with the dog right after a scene featuring the dog.

Better or worse than true detective season 2?
I hope True Detective wasn't this bad. I can't believe I am still watching it. This past week was one of the worst episodes ever. Junior turned into Superman, the baby sucked the alien out of Eva and no one thinks it is a bad idea to allow the aliens their last request. May be the worst show I have ever watched. If it weren't for my son, I wouldn't watch it and even he can't stand it. Hey, maybe it is our True Detective 2.

I did like the part where Junior made Big Jim look like a #######, acting like he was going to work for him in his used car lot.

But yes, this show is a mess.

Cancelled!

3 years to late.
Gotta love how the article tells us what happens with the dome. I'm invested unfortunately, so I will watch it till the end to see what kinds of whacky adventures our crew gets into next. That said, I would have been pretty happy with a suffocation ending.

Yes that story needed major spoiler alerts in it. Two episodes left and they feel the need to blow the ending for us of the 4.9 million still watching the show? Who else would be reading the story other than us? Dolts.

Wait, did you expect the dome to stay up for the show finale? Of course it is coming down in some fashion

Eh it wasn't that bad. There have been worse shows and it has had its moments.
It was terrible. Bottom 1% of shows to ever air.I watched every episode.
I have watched every episode as well. It killed 42 minutes of the day, but it is not even close to the bottom 1% ever to air.
Correct. it is probably closer to the bottom .0001% ever
I mean, alien body snatched milf with mind control slime on her lips making out with a teenage police officer arsonist/stalker.

It took just three weeks under a dome to get to that.

Hey, lets take Steven King's fairly interesting book and piss all over it!

Great idea! Can we include mind control slime?

Yes! That would be epic!

***SERIES FINALE ALERT***

Under the Dome Thursday @10 p.m CBS (series finale) — The Dome comes down and the Resistance tries to protect the outside world from the infected townspeople.

Looks like the writers ran out of ideas before the domesters ran out of air.

Can't wait for the sequel "Outside the Dome".

This doesn't sound very much like how the book went. Has this been mentioned yet?

No, I think you may be the first.

The thought that I have is after coming home from the bank to cash his weekly check does Stephen King actually sit down and watch this show?

First episode I have seen since season 1. WTF is this?
On the show, Season 1 ended 3 weeks ago.

Bet you didn't think it would take a 1 day old full grown queen alien to whistle to some purple rocks to bring the dome down.

Why didn't they cook that cow when they were running out of food?

How on earth did they run out of food so fast?

At least the gas wasn't bad.

Don't mean to alarm anyone, but the ending could mean a possible sequel.

Could be an A-Team type deal with congressman Big Jim leading his rag-tag group around the world trying to destroy the Mean Queen & her freshly laid egg.

The food was such a big issue and then it seemed to disappear. The air was going away so fast that old people were struggling to breathe, but they had no issue walking miles to the lake to drown themselves. Also, the gas will never go bad there, the plants and trees in Chesters Mill produce gasoline preservatives in gaseous form in their photosynthesis process not oxygen. So, people suffocate, but the cars can run forever.

Thank god this steaming pile of dog poo is over. I had to force myself to watch the last two shows. It was amazing how much worse it got each episode. Oh, Barbie, did you weaken the board? First of all, how the #### did you do that and second of all, how come a blank ninja queen that can run 100 mph can't jump a tiny ravine or just run across the bridge really fast.

It was sort of a fun show in the first season, but I don't know which kindergarten class was in charge of the story this past season. I honestly think this season may have been the worst TV show I've ever watched. At least the ending showed that the show runners were expecting another season, so their hopes and dreams were crushed to make up a little bit for the pain and suffering we went through having to digest the crap they fed us.

You serious, Clark? :lmao:

So glad I quit 3 episodes into the first season.
He's serious. Honestly, if you go into the 3rd season not expecting a good show, but looking to laugh at how bad a TV show could be, you might enjoy it. The last few episodes were incredible.

I was wrong about the stupid dog :kicksrock:
The dog had the jail key hidden in the collar as well as at taking junior in the big fight. Dog was critical.

Big Jim was always prepared.

If I had to name a MVP of the series I would give it to Dog. But then that would be like giving out an MVP to the best Cleveland Brown.
