Steve Johnson Bills (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me more about him than that he keeps impressing the Bills in practices and was a late pick out of Kentucky?

"Stevie Got Loose" Johnson really developed during his senior year at UK. He has excellent hands, balance, strength and runs good routes. He's also a high-character guy with great coachability and work-ethic. Downside is that he lacks explosive speed. He reminds me a bit of another Johnson: Keyshawn.

Of the two wideouts from Kentucky's senior class (Keenon Burton being the other one), Steve Johnson may end up being the better NFL player. He's definitely someone to keep an eye on as a potential dynasty sleeper.

As an aside, I believe Bloom or Lammey did a podcast on him a couple of weeks before the draft.

Thank youMany times I hear about him something bad has taken place or is also talked about. It might just simply be hearing a negative(Lynch, Hardy) then hearing a positive(Johnson) makes the positive news seem that much sweeter. I'm not sure if he's worth getting excited about yet

I like his game but not where he went, especially come FF playoff time. They need to move to a dome in Canada as a courtesy to FFL'ers everywhere.

Lee Evans has been in the league for 4 years. In Weeks 14-16 of the NFL season (FF playoff time), he has put up 47 receptions, 801 yards, and 11 TDs in 12 games. That works out to an average of 3.9 rec, 66.8 yards, and .9 TDs.For people who think he relies too heavily on one or two big games, here are his week by week numbers during the FF playoffs:2 rec, 79 yards, 2 TDs4 rec, 36 yards, 0 TDs3 rec, 43 yards, 1 TD2 rec, 91 yards, 1 TD3 rec, 67 yards, 1 TD5 rec, 64 yards, 1 TD4 rec, 83 yards, 0 TD2 rec, 5 yards, 0 TD5 rec, 107 yards, 1 TD4 rec, 33 yards, 1 TD5 rec, 101 yards, 1 TD8 rec, 92 yards, 2 TDsonly 1 awful game out of 12 (came against Champ Bailey and the Broncos in 2005) and he has at least 1 TD in 9 of those 12 games.

"Wide open down the sideline, OH MY GOD ITS STEVIE JOHNSON..."

Self-proclaimed to be 'slow.' All the guy did last year in college was make plays, and big plays. That was the call from the game winning TD catch against UofL, a HUGE win for Kentucky last year.

I love the guy.

4-36 is awful. Also remember that many of those games were with Losman who is in love with Evans. He's not in love with Johnson nor is he the starter.

in a PPR league that's 7.6 points. not great but not really awful either.agreed on Losman and obviously Johnson isn't a starter. I'm just disputing your notion that Buffalo is a graveyard for fantasy WRs in the playoffs.

I love him too but just read he was in the car with Lynch when he ran over that lady
I believe the lady was struck by a slow moving vehicle, not exactly "ran over". Anyway... I don't believe he has any character concerns of note. He is not a starter so all enthusiasm should be tempered. Someone to possibly tuck away on a dynasty league perhaps?

There guy never put a foot out of line at UK while I was there last year. I wouldn't worry about anything from him.

Just watch this.
Is that Steve Johnson running an 9.0 40? oops wrong videoBoy is that workout video classic Cecil, it's great.

Next year, please consider tying a piece of a ripped shirt onto your forehead like Rambo first. That would be awesome

Done! great idea :(

I think young WRs need good QBs getting them the ball. So Johnson can play well, but the QB play could be very spotty in Buffalo this year.

I like Caldwell in Cincy more for 2008 because of Palmer, but Johnson, Evans and Hardy will be a nice mix going forward IMO.
