Arian Foster makes a lot of sense...could end up being the GL guy
Rumor has that Houston has signed him as an UDFA.
What veteran free agents are left? Chris Brown ain't gonna last 15 minutes, can't count on him....
Guys like rudi Johnson, Warrick dunn, Michael Pittman and Deshaun foster are available. Honestly, I would rather hope on Brown/moats than those fossils.

Even if Houston was looking to draft a RB in the 3rd round as expected, I think it shows a lot of faith in Slaton that they're willing to go with Chris Brown and a collection of waiver pickups and UDFA's as backups. I fully expected Houston to get a RB in the first 4 rounds, regardless of how quickly their favorite picks went off the board. Guys like Peerman and Jennings were available late into the draft, and Houston did not opt to address RB. They might bring in a goal line specialist, but that still leaves Slaton as a top RB in PPR leagues.

I was thinking Marlon Lucky or Ian Johnson might be a good fit, but they've apparently signed elsewhere. Foster doesn't exactly wow me, even as just a GL back.
