As a Panthers fan who watched every game last year, Steve hasn't slowed down at all. And because of his age, he can be had pretty cheap in dynasty leagues. I think he'll remain a threat to stay in the top 10 over the next 3 years if Cam continues to improve.
He's also 32. There are definitely opportunities to get him for cheaper than he should be.About the signing: This clears up about 5 million in cap space for Carolina.

For those laughing at the concept of him being a good buy low, do you think he's not worth a late 1st round or early 2nd round rookie pick? Do you think you'll get a player there that could very well score in the top 5 or 10? I'd say that's a good buy low, especially if he remains a starter for 2-3 more years, which I believe he will be. If I'm wrong, I'll come right back here and eat crow.
I own him and would trade him for the right offer. But Rotoworld's recent dynasty ranking has him at 32. I think that screams buy low if an owner is letting him go for ANY of those guys ranked around him. He might have another top 15 and another top 20 finish left in him. I'll take two years of that over the future of most prospects ranked around him.
I lucked into getting him cheap last year, as I had enough hope for a rebound that he was a decent bench player.Shot tight into my starting lineup. Yay.But he really fell off a bit down the stretch. Wasn't a nosedive. But was concerning enough.Don't think I'll get him very cheap in 2012, so I likely won't be getting him.

Wesseling has released QB and RB rankings but I wasnt aware that he had released any WR rankings yet. I cant find them on the Rotoworld site either. Do you have a link?

Just swapped him in dynasty yesterday for M. Austin. I did notice the nosedive towards the end of the year last season. I'm looking for big things from Olsen in that passing game this year....and of course they'll be running the ball.
I don't really think the two are exclusive. Just because he was cheaper last year doesn't mean he can still be purchased for less than he's worth now. I was able to get him for the 2.02 rookie pick in a league from a team that's in a rebuild. To me, that's a steal.
