Hey Sharks,

I have received a lot of feedback, both on the board and via email on Jackson at #21.

While I still do not believe that Jackson is a clear #1 RB heading into the 2006 season, I have seen enough good arguments to persuade me that I was a tad bit harsh in my initial projections/rankings. These have been revised, as of this morning, and he is now at #16 on my RB board and #31 on my overall board. The big move upwards on my overall board is indicative of just how closely packed the mid-tier of fantasy prospects are this coming season from this early May perspective, IMO. Not many FP seperated 49 and 31 (10, to be exact).

Thanks to everyone who cared to give a thoughtful critique about my RB board. I look forward to seeing how Jackson develops during training camp in the new system in St. Louis.

Why do you have him doing worse than last year? 1300 total yards and 10 combined TD's shouldn't be that hard for him to attain in that offense with his receiving ability.

While I agree that you had him low, and that you still might be a smidgeon low now, I always hate to see spineless pandering to a whining mob. Show some backbone, man!

;)

i took a lot more from mark's arguments against jackson than i did the masses yelling "he's insane"

can wimer still come back and say "i told you so" if jackson bombs this year? ;)

He was performing like a stud #1 type running back until Bulger got hurt and they had Fitzpatrick at QB- He was the only threat on the team at that point. With Bulger back and hopefully healthy, Jackson could be a top running back in my opinion

Wimer has Jackson at #19 overall this season. Did S-Jax steal his woman or something?
wow. Just....wow.

From what I have seen Mark is just not very High on SJax........he is top 5 in pretty much any format I can think of.....

Another vote for top 5. Last year in my league he finished 16th best RB, with the 6th best pts/game. Barring massive team wide injuries like last year he will be a lead pipe lock for top 10 IMO.
