I just got S-Jax at 1.6 in a redraft PPR league. Was honestly SHOCKED he wasn't gone by the 3rd or 4th pick. Is this holdout a major concern and the reason he fell? Do any Rams homers know what's going on? Would or could he really sit out this year??

There's another thread, but basically, he passed a deadline a few days ago that should make SJax owners very, very nervous. He needed to report by August 4th (or so) in order to qualify for unrestricted free agency after this year.He didn't report, which means he really has nothing left to lose. Holdouts can end in a hurry, it happens all the time, but the fact that he is willing to give up a year of freedom in order to continue his holdout is ominous. I never believe when players say they are willing to sit out the year, blah blah blah, but SJax ain't saying a thing. He just ain't showing up.Yeah, I think you should be nervous.
ESPN reports progress is being made between the St. Louis Rams and holdout RB Steven Jackson. They are expected to reach an agreement on a new contract within the next few days.
