It just amazes me how much the NFL is out of touch. The whole Tim McGraw thing is just ridiculous, and the halftime show is always somebody reeeeeaaaaaaalllllllyyy tired. I just would like to see them put somebody new out there. My choice? Outkast. Now, THAT I would watch.
ahhhh. The new=good argument. I was waiting.NewsFlash. The Stones could be 80 years old wearing Depends and more people will know and care about them than will ever care about Outkast. Their mix was bad last night, but I've seen them live and they can still bring it and they bring it infront of sold out stadiums every night with all age groups represented.
How many of your new, "hip" artists will be able to say that in 40 years?
Newsflash: The Stones suck now, they sucked 20 years ago, and they will suck 20 years from now when they are still milking money out of people like you. They should have hung it up a while ago. Just because they have a large fan base that clings to the good ole days and refuses to believe that anything new can actually be good does not make them great. You, and a lot of other people like them and enjoyed their show. Good, I'm glad. My point is, is that the halftime show needs somebody that is recent. I can virtually guarantee that there are more people in this country that would enjoy a fresher view from the NFL than the Tim McGraw/Stones combo.
