That was basically it, but the second round of shots came about 15 minutes after the initial order.

My second favorite part of the story, right behind the part where you turned into the skid of your stomach pains with a shot of Captain Morgan and cigarette ashes. Outstanding yarn. Big fan of your storytelling. Already looking forward to the Preakness tale.

I think I still have the tape, but it's a Hi 8 tape so I have to figure out how to convert it to digital. If I can work that out, I will post it.

I'll look into that, thanks. I'll look for the tape later today, I definitely wouldn't have thrown it out, just not sure where it would be. The 8mm camera crapped out about 7-8 years ago so those tapes haven't been touched in a while and have been through 3 moves since then.

Just then, two dancers come down the stairs.

Barker : "See for yourself, this is Destiny and Amber....."

Yams : "Those chicks are very, very..................average."

EG (doing announcer voice) : "Teasers !! Home of 3 dollar Bud bottles and the world's highest concentration of herpes sores !! Look, she's got one right there...."

Yams : "Listen, let's cut through the BS. Has anyone ever taken a dump on your chest?"

Barker : "What? No......."

Yams : "What if I slide back here when you get off work? I think I can hold this monster back until then. What time do you get off?"

Barker (actually seeming interested in Yams at this point) : "2 AM. You're really going to come back for me at 2:00?"

EG : "Holy s--t... is she even listening to you?"

Yams : "She's drunk. That's right, toots, I'll be back at 2:00 and I'm going to hit you with a Cleveland steamer. I might even do a chili dog - you know what that is?"

Barker : "You won't come back at 2:00 - you're full of s--t."

EG : "He IS full of s--t - that's what he was just saying. You'll see-"

Yams : "I am f--king coming back. I'm going to take you back to my hotel."

Barker : "Yeah, right..."

Yams : "I'm serious. You're coming back to my hotel tonight." (EG and Yams start to walk off)

Barker (calling after Yams) : "I'm sure I won't see you again !"

Yams : "You heard what I said. I'll be back at 2:00 and I'm going to take a huge f--king DUMP right on your chest. Bet on it !!!!"

Barker : "I'm not going to hold my breath !!!!"

EG : "I'd recommend you do........."

This whole story had me dying, but this part was pure :lmao:

The multi vomit story wants to post about my somewhat similar happening, but I don't even want to attempt to follow that masterpiece.

 
We ran out to the parking lot to meet him as we knew why he was there and didn't want him smelling the herb or finding the roach with bits of Isaiah 53:5 on it. Luckily, the cops in Key West are really chill, so he wasn't hassling us too hard when he saw we were leaving.

This is when white privilege goes right. Without it, EG wouldn't be a legend (he'd probably be dead) and we wouldn't be so entertained.

Update: I'm pretty sure I found the tape. It doesn't say Key West on it, but it's the right time frame, so it should be the one. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing for sure until I get it transferred to DVD because I have no way to play it. I'm going to look into the Costco service this week. Anyone know if you need a membership to get this done? I don't think there's a Costco within 20 minutes of my house so I doubt I'd use it much.

Pretty sure Walgreens does it too. No idea of the cost though

I don't see why not. I mean, I don't know if drug use is cool to put on YouTube, but I don't know how keen I am to put footage of myself smoking online anyway. I can always make a few small edits.

 
Think you can post on YouTube that people can only find if they have the link? I may be making that up. Or yeah, use vid.me or something and have no title or keywords that could get back to you, should be good.

VHS-to-DVD services are all over the place.

It'll happen, I'm just not sure how quickly. This is a busy week for me, but I'm going to try to find time. I may need to find a Costco, drive there, and get a membership - appears as if Walgreens charges $35 per 2-hour DVD and Costco only charges $20. If I have to get a membership, that would seem to make it less cost-effective, but I found about 11-12 Hi8 tapes when I looked the other day, so there could be lots of gold in them thar hills. They're all from about 1994-2003. If I want to get all 12 put on DVD, that would cost me over $400 at Walgreens but less than $300 at Costco even with a membership.

Q: Is there any advantage to Blu-Ray as opposed to DVD if the source material was shot on 8mm tape?

Not a big deal to foot the bill, just seems like Costco is the less pricey way to go. Plus, they apparently will squash multiple tapes onto one DVD if the source material runs less than 2 hours which I'm sure some of these tapes do. Walgreens seems pretty staunch on the 1 tape = 1 DVD at $35 EA pricing plan, so Costco could be a big $$ saver. Just wish there was one anywhere near me, the fact that they're all out of the way is going to make this a much slower process.

 
I seem to remember one of your stories about a wedding, your brother, and the chick from the weather channel. It's all a blur but that's what I request.

That was Stephanie Abrams. He walked up to her and said : "Tonight's forecast... two warm fronts coming together. Uh huh huh huh..." in the Butthead voice. I'll see if I can find the thread, but I don't know who hosted the pictures of Yams jumping into their wedding photos and ultimately wiping out and taking out a little tree in the process and if they're still online.
