If Strahan "retires" then who takes his place? Any chance they move Kiwanuka back to DL? Anyone think Strahan might be traded? Heard they might be interested in Simion Rice but that just sounds stupid after how much they were gushing over Kiwi last year, saying they expected him to be as good as Mario and all that, plus they have like a TON of talent for DE on that team. Thoughts?

Strahan Retires?

I will be shocked if he retires. This sounds like a classic negotiation ploy. If he retires, I would speculate that Kiwanuka moves back to DE. That's nothing but an educated guess.

I think both Tuck and Kiwanuka will split time at DE until one of them earns the starting gig. But I agree that this is most likely a negotiating ploy by Strahan.

Yeah, I am pretty sure Tuck is still recovering. And I saw a blurb on Rotoworld about the possibility they may just release Strahan outright, hmmm....

How does this change your rankings?

FBG has him ranked 27th overall (combined expert rankings, redraft, hi 21, low 41)

I'm not an IDP expert--but it seems like his upside for this year--based on his recent injury/lisfranc history, is not good.

DL2? DL3+? Too much risk?

I have him as a low end DL2. I think he is still an elite DL, and you can usually get him cheaper because of his age.

Tuck, according to the news on the boards, appeared to have a very solid camp. As a Tuck - Jared Allen owner in one league, it would sure be nice if Tuck got a couple starts to get past the 2 game vacation slapped on Allen.
