Has there ever been a case of a team appearing for only one day in a visiting ballpark in a given season?

The Twins were scheduled for only one two-game series against the Red Sox in Boston this season. With last night's game being rained out, they play a day-night doubleheader today, then don't return for the rest of the year.

Good question. I am not really sure that this would count though. The Twins really never showed up.

I'm more curious about the fact that the first game of the double header was rain-shortened yet the 2nd game was played completely. Wonder if that's ever happened before.
