Landed the G-men in two waiver claims and feel good about it. Kap is completely lost. On paper - the Giants should crush the 49'ers. At home, prime time game, experienced HC that will have his troops ready to rumble and a defense that is decent vs. the run against an offense that has potential to run.
The G-men look to be picking up some serious steam while the 49'ers have regressed into being one of the bottom 5 dogs of the league. With that being stated, this is the NFL so a fix errrr upset can hit at any time. Kap has 5 picks and 0 TDs in the last two games. Perfect setup for an upset? hard to justify.
Was liking the Falcon D this week and it appears that there has been little interest thus far. Cousins can do his best impersonation of Cutler on the road and the hyper scoring nature of the Falcon offense might set the table for a lot of pressure on a guy that cannot handle pressure on the road. Can the Skins defeather the Falcons on the road? Hmmmmm
I agree Giants seem like a good option, but I would point out that we are past due for the annual "Eli puts up an absolute stinker in a home game and the Giants suffer a huge upset" week, and SF would seem to be the perfect candidate. Now, that doesn't automatically mean the defense will perform badly, but if three of Eli's 5 INTs are returned into the red zone (the other two going for pick sixes, naturally), it could put the D behind the 8-ball.
You have been warned.
