Anyone know of any players that have this? I know TVU had it for a while but I can't get NFL network here so I am up a creak...

Out of 10 times, NFL Network is available on TVU maybe twice.Very unreliable, TVU is.

hmmmm.... maybe it can only take a certain amout of streams for a channel, and when it goes over, that channel goes off the list?how does that place work? who's streaming the channels? individuals or networks?
NFLN streamed draft coverage thru Real. Tiny hope they do the games.

been down that road but their streaming it with an american company(yahoo) so....I think Sky sports and Star sports are foreign companies, been googling them.

http://www.streamtvnow.com It's like $5 a month. Usually carries every NFL Game and has the network streaming currently.

I think I'm seeing it on TVU right now. Channel 20149, although it's not called NFL Network. It's listed as FOOTBALL!, but when playing has the NFL logo in the top right.

Have you checked out the URL at the top of the TVU player screen when you click on that?http://streamednfl.blogspot.com/
I clicked on that page and it appears to have a bunch of games listed for tomorrow (scroll down the page a little to Week 11 games).
I tried clicking on some of the links but got a password error, but then I read this...
I'm going to try again tomorrow and see if I can get any of the listed games to work.

Yes, I did see that link and was hoping that between TVU and and SopCast, someone will be streaming the game on Thanksgiving night. I definitely going to be checking it out this week to see if we'll be able to pull in the game.I also was getting to sound on the TVU Football! station, and am glad to hear that it wasn't just me. I really wouldn't care as long as I could see what was going on with the game.
I'm sure this is going to be a popular thread in the upcoming week.

Dumbest thing DirecTV/NFL ever did was separate the "local broadcast" games off the ST grouping. I was a 10 year ST subscriber (may be off a year either way, but was been a LONG time), and primarily got it as a Bears fan living in West Michigan wanting to watch Chicago every week. Last year when they moved my local broadcasts out of the package, I noticed that if I wanted to watch Da Bearsss more often than not I was on my "free" programming. This year, I dropped the ST and have watched every game except the Minnesota game on my big TV, and I was able to catch it reasonably well on TVU. This week it looks like TVU will be my outlet as well, but I have made the tech leap to push TVU out to the big screen as well and watch it PIP along with the local HD broadcast. Thanks everyone for alerting me to TVU and saving me almost $300 this year!
Anyone try to park a slingbox in a friend/relative's house to see distant games? My sister still lives in Chicago and I have thought about it but fear it may not end up being much different that TVU. We both have highspeed connections, but with her upload limited to about 256 I don't know what the quality would be like...

Because I downloaded TVU player last night, and those stations aren't on the "list of channels" over on the left side of the screen. Okay, so last night I downloaded version 2.3. So I just deleted that, and downloaded version 1.5.1. This version seems to have a box that lets me type in the channel number that I want (down at the bottom) but when I type in the channel numbers from that blogspot website, they don't seem to work.So Bri, when you open your TVU player, the stations listed on that blogspot website are options to view? anonymous is fineIIRC last week the Pats were on WMOE 6616. So I had to click on "WMOE" or "6616" not "Patriots" or some NFL type word you're familiar with. It's like looking for "CBS" instead of "TV show name", keep that in mind. Very simple. Don't get creative, just holler if you have a probEvil, if you're around, please change first post for reference

I tried to add these to see what would happen.
I've been emailing someone from there.Last week they put up a note that it wouldn't work til that day. He was considerring changing that til like an hour before kickoff.There is nothing there now. It's a complete waste of bandwidth to have people on a channel that is not being used. I will get back to ya in a little bit.I'll have to go visit family for a little bit and comeback but I plan to watch it tonight or at least try.
