Suggestion for the Shark Pool in the offseason (1 Viewer)

Obviously not as much traffic in the offseason on these boards as opposed to in pre-season/in season

Most would say, this is actually when the best info is available in Shark Pool.

The suggestion would be to merge the IDP forum with the Shark Pool.

Lets say...somewhere between Jan-August?

IDP forum is a wealth of knowledge year round, and in the offseason its a ghost town.

Being is seems HARDCORE players do the IDP, and HARDCORE players are the ones who frequent the SP alot in the offseason, why not merge?

I already see posts in the SP with reports of IDP signings, and then in the IDP forum a simialr thread with 1 reply.

Is this even logistically possible?

Would IDP regulars even want this, would SP only regulars who don't do IDP want this?

I think this is an excellent idea; I often forget/neglect the IDP forum even though I probably need help more in that area.

IF it were possible with the board software (I dono, but kinda doubt it; I've seen boards merged, but not separated) it should require that each thread created during this period be designated as belonging to either forum, so that boards could be unmerged at the appropriate time. That's all well and good, but it would be up to the end user to correctly designate the threads to the proper board. That's likely where it'd fail.

Sorry, I wouldn't be interested in IDP. Would rather keep it separate.
