It's Sunday morning. That's time for setting fantasy lineups and last minute injury updates. We'll be updating this page all day with the latest injury news you need to know.
1. NFL.com's Albert Breer reports wide receiver Wes Welker is expected to play despite his ankle injury. Breer also reports tight end Aaron Hernandez is expected to be out again.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin announced that running back Rashad Mendenhall (ankle) will start on Sunday Night Football against the Ravens. We knew Mendenhall would be back previously, but didn't know if he'd start. We still think the Steelers should throw the ball plenty against Baltimore.
3. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said all week he expects wide receiver Pierre Garcon (ankle) to play.
4. ESPN reports that tight end Owen Daniels (hamstring) is expected to play against the Jaguars.
5. 49ers quarterback Alex Smith is cautiously expected to play Monday night despite his concussion. He's questionable. Jason Campbell will start for the Bears.
6. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (ankle) didn't practice all week, but he's expected to test out his ankle before the game. He may be limited even if he plays. Running back Michael Turner (groin) is expected to play.
I generally consider any player who's still having symptoms 48 hours after the injury as out indefinitely. There's a chance his symptoms clear in time for him to play in Week 12, but it's very tough to say with certainty when he'll return. It's a cynical viewpoint and won't enter into the medical decision, but the Eagles probably aren't in a big hurry to get him back on the field as they evaluate Foles.
