I didn't think it sounded like I was saying Warner did anything illegal, I said he was going for the fumble. Just that it seemed to wake Lamb up a bit, and he went from having kinda mopey body language to suddenly looking very motivated.

Actually, I think what Warner does should be illegal. I think I’ve said so in a bunch of threads. He runs around punching people in the stomach when he misses. I’ve seen it happen. The NFL really should look into disallowing the Peanut punch (Peanut Tillman made that a mainstream tactic). It’s not good and Warner is going to hurt somebody doing it. And pretty badly. He’s throwing body blow haymakers out there, and that’s illegal.

It should be no less illegal because there’s a ball in the area of the punch. It’s ridiculous.
