Even these refs couldn't ignore a DPI that blatant
He makes way too many boneheaded decisions under pressure.Mariota might be the NFL's best backup. He's balling out against a top-3 defense

If he played like this drive for the entire game, sure. But no.
Nah, he also ran right into a couple of sacks. He’s made big plays, but he’s made some bad decisions too. Coulda had several more ints. He's been great all night, other than that early boneheaded INT.
This season in a nutshell..Washington finds a way to prolong the heartbreak.
You are not the boss of me.you don't have to go home but you can't stay here
Was a fun game.better team won, but kuddos to Commanders for that fight!

We got Payton’d. Sutton owners have been suffering it all season it seems and now it’s our turn. I told myself I’d never trust a Sean Payton-coached player again and it may cost me.Where did those Franklin targets we saw early on go? He's been invisible for the past two quarters.
Signed, someone who needs 7 points from him to keep my playoff hopes alive
And like that game, this one also ended with the potential game winner being batted down at the LOSOnly time I've ever seen that scenario was Jags-Raiders a few weeks ago. But by the time LV scored, there was barely any time left, so kicking the XP would have pretty much guaranteed a tie. (They went for two and didn't get it)If Washington scores a TD I would assume they would go for 2
I’m sorry for the loss of your cousin. And, sorry for the loss to your cousin, if it comes to that. In all seriousness it does put things in perspective. At the end this is just a game that we play. My condolences to your family.OK so this is sort of awkward. I'm in a long-time family league where the commish is my cousin. Sadly, he passed away a few weeks ago. There's been zero discussion of how any of this should affect our league because a) it's no-stakes, and b) duh. I just realized that, after this week's results, he's currently in the final playoff spot and I'm the last team out. So in order to make the playoffs, I need to win next week and he needs to lose. I honestly don't even know what I want to happen. Even thinking about it feels silly and inconsequential
Thanks, GB. Agree on perspective. And to clarify something, there's no dilemma here. The answer to "What do I do about this?" is that I do nothing, because it's not important enough to do anything about. Which is why I posted about it at the end of a game thread rather than in its own threadI’m sorry for the loss of your cousin. And, sorry for the loss to your cousin, if it comes to that.
