**Sunday Night Football - Denver at Washington**(+6.5, 43.5) 8:20 (4 Viewers)

Bummer for Commanders, but probably best case in terms of showing some fight while also staying in the running for a top draft pick. Or maybe this positions them to get Daniels back next week and go on a mini-run to end the season on a high note. Point being, this result doesn't matter much to them either way

OK so this is sort of awkward. I'm in a long-time family league where the commish is my cousin. Sadly, he passed away a few weeks ago. There's been zero discussion of how any of this should affect our league because a) it's no-stakes, and b) duh. I just realized that, after this week's results, he's currently in the final playoff spot and I'm the last team out. So in order to make the playoffs, I need to win next week and he needs to lose. I honestly don't even know what I want to happen. Even thinking about it feels silly and inconsequential

If Washington scores a TD I would assume they would go for 2
Only time I've ever seen that scenario was Jags-Raiders a few weeks ago. But by the time LV scored, there was barely any time left, so kicking the XP would have pretty much guaranteed a tie. (They went for two and didn't get it)
And like that game, this one also ended with the potential game winner being batted down at the LOS

I’m sorry for the loss of your cousin. And, sorry for the loss to your cousin, if it comes to that. In all seriousness it does put things in perspective. At the end this is just a game that we play. My condolences to your family.

Thanks, GB. Agree on perspective. And to clarify something, there's no dilemma here. The answer to "What do I do about this?" is that I do nothing, because it's not important enough to do anything about. Which is why I posted about it at the end of a game thread rather than in its own thread
