**Sunday Night Football - Packers at Cowboys**(+7, 47.5) 8:20 (3 Viewers)

This game is a FF bonanza.
I only play in one league. I'm 3-0 going against the other 3-0 team. I lost Malik Nabers earlier today. I have Jake Ferguson but going against Josh Jacobs, Javonte Williams, Tucker Kraft, and Edgerrin Cooper. I'm projected to lose after losing Nabers. Still have Achane, Waddle, Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall so need a high scoring game tomorrow night.

This game is between one VERY overrated Packer team, and one pretty underrated Cowboy team.

Neither of these teams are threats in the NFC

Is there a definitively great team in either conference yet? Green Bay is good. Green Bay utterly schooled Detroit. This year’s version of the Eagles is bumbling and kinda stupid (or at least being secretive) thus far, so the two organizations we’ve noted as excellent for a three-year run aren’t showing the kind of swashbuckling dominance we’re used to. There are the Rams with their lethal pass rushers and tough, swarming defense, but their offense is hinky and worrisome because Stafford is older and one hit from falling apart.

I think I’m chalking Green Bay’s seemingly nonexistent defensive performance tonight up to being a touch aberrant. The Cowboys offense is really good so far, and the Cowboys kept themselves in this game with plenty of motivation and they still might give up forty points, which seems like their issue. Their defense is bad enough to where they can turn around and breathe and wind up down 21 by the time they take the next breath.

So there’s Tampa in the South even though Todd Bowles bleeds burnt bulbs; Green Bay with Detroit in the North, both of whom look unsparingly and with rapaciousness at their division mates who make up half of a threatening Minnesota team. In the East, you of course have Philadelphia, once and only if they finish eating at that secretive or stupid buffet they’re currently dining at, and you also have the Commanders, regressing as we speak and with a QB who people worry is frail and who began the year not disproving them; and finally you wind up out West with the truly upstart Seahawks who look like they’ve been graced both physically and with a legit QB, the Rams, who bring their staff and pass rushers for days, and of course the 49ers who have cobbled together an interesting and quality team for an organization who was supposed to reset due to cap duress this year.

There is no great team at all here unless Barkley finds his health and they let Jalen throw and run without any restrictions, so I’m not sure Green Bay are any sort of sinners against NFC excellence. And we should give it all time, anyway. There will be two-four where either the good teams get excellent or others become really good from an slightly above-average starting position.

Anyway, I spent half an hour on this, so I’ll hit “Post Reply” and move on with my night. Peace.
