Dallas could end up in the Super Bowl this year.

Indy in 2012 with Peyton still at the controls.

New Orleans is hosting in 2013 and they look like they are going to be good for awhile

Now New York will host in 2014. The Jets look like they are building a monster for the future and the Giants will likley still have Eli, imagine a Jets/Giants Super Bowl.

Has a team ever won a Super Bowl in their home stadium?

SF did play at Standford, which is kinda close.

One thing about the NFL things change fast. I mean the Great Peyton has only been to 2 superbowls in 10 year.

Heck it could be Detroit Vs Oakland in that New york superbowl who knows

The Saints didnt even make the playoffs the year before their SB win.

The LA Rams played Super Bowl XIV in Pasadena (lost), and as mentioned, the 49ers played in Super Bowl XIX in Stanford (beating Miami). I believe those are the closest a team has played to their home stadium.

AFAIK, no team has played a SB in their regular-season home. But a Jets/Gints SB in '14 would be awesome.
