Suprise 2-0 Teams (1 Viewer)

Bears are fo real. Anyone who watched the game today can't say different. They still have a lot of work to do but they are competitive.

Bears are the best team of that bunch although I think their defense will go into a late fall hibernation like the last few seasons.

I actually like all of them. I think TB won't make the playoffs with wildcards going to NFC East and/or NFC North (Bears and NYG/WAS) but if NO falters at all Tampa could be in competition. Then again, ATL is ahead of them too.

KC looks good again, and I think they can win the AFC West if they beat SD again. Love their coaching staff, if not their head coach.

The Bears look great. As does Cutler. They are for the most "for real" in my book.

Dolphins with Marshall actually have the ability to throw the ball more than 6 yards downfield, and Ronnie and Ricky are looking old. I think if they pass better each week they can contend with the Jets and Pats.

As a KC fan, I would say that the Chiefs are not for real. The defense and special teams are much improved, though still have a way to go with a lot of youth. The offense is terrible, and Cassel is abysmal. Their schedule is fairly easy, so I think they have a chance at 7-9 wins, but I don't anticipate them winning the West.

If KC had a QB, they could have been a sneaky team this year. I have to hope they cut bait with Cassel this offseason (contract is structured to do so), and go a different direction next season.

I think the Dolphins are likely the most real of the bunch - I'm not sold on the Bears.

Huge game between the Dolphins and Jets next week.

Uh, yeah, that 6.2 YPC average Brown had just screams "over the hill" for a 28 year old.

I didn't think either of them looked very good, and Ronnie's only play was the 50 yarder you could have driven a truck through...pre-ACL and lis franc he beats the one guy (Madieu Williams) for a 100 yard TD run instead of going at him and being unable to make a move...

Tampa's defense is young and nasty. I still think they're 8-8ish, but they've got real skill over there. Freeman and Mike Williams on offense too.

I think, against Minnesota's defensive line, you can't really ask for much more. Brown was never a speed guy, so not being able to outrun a safety in a footrace isn't really a concern IMO.

Wasn't a footrace IMO, if he had pulled any sort of stiff arm or juke or stutter step, Williams would have flow past out of bounds and he'd have had a 40 yard head start that I could get a TD off of.

I really wish the Bears would have used the Dan Lafevour pick on something else. Maybe some Oline depth. It will be the Oline that decides how far this team can go this year.

Bucs are for real. Bears look to be the worst of the bunch and are lucky to be 2-0.
Wow, i think the Bears look the best. That is a nasty defense they've got up there. I think that the Bucs are least likely to make the playoffs, and then the Dolphins are the next least likely. Is HOU a surprise? I picked them for the SB this year, so they're my fave of the "surprise" teams.

Brown ran a 4.44, he had some speed coming out of college. That said, of course I think the Bears are for real and the Bucs will be hoping to hit .500, they are just too young.

The Dolphins are a hard one to figure out. Two road wins is a great way to start off, and their defense looks terrific, but will their passing game be good enough for them to beat teams who will be able to score on them? Time will tell.

TB and KC strike me as being improved teams that will end up around 7-9, maybe even 8-8, but definitely teams on the rise.

Chicago is hard to figure out. They were fortunate to hold on and beat Detroit last week, but regardless of the problems the Cowboys have, winning at Dallas is impressive. Definitely a team to watch.

I'll tell you who is for real. Josh Freeman is for real.

I don't know if the Bucs can quite get all the way to the playoffs this year, but their future is very bright.

DolphinsBearsBucsChiefsWho is for real out of this group?
I really want to say KC since their fans are awesome and I love the rookie talent they have, and they are much improved at special teams. But I can't take them seriously with Cassel as their QB. He is horrible. He's worse than horrible. To think that he caused McDaniels to jump for him bringing about the mess with Cutler is ridiculous (and I don't even think Cutler is all that great to begin with). If there was ever a serious argument to be made for Brady being a system QB its that Cassel played as well as he did in NE. KC would have been better off with that Thigpen kid they shipped off to wherever he is now...

The bears look really good but I don't think romo is as good as some think and it will be interesting to see what the bears d backs do against a real passing attack and also i am concerned about some of the key front d players for them being old and having injury histories as last season showed that one injury can really derail that d.

After I saw this guy play in the preseason last year I did everything I could to get him in ever league i could. The guy is the real deal. And he plays like a guy thats well beyond his age. I think Barring an injury or silly head coach shenanigans he should be a stud in the near future.
