Survivor Cagayan (1 Viewer)

I think J'Tia might perhaps be the worst survivor ever. Ever. She is the Omarosa of Survivor, only even Omarosa won a challenge or two on Apprentice.

The flag on the hoist was one of the funniest and sad things I've seen on Survivor. It was funny she brought up swimming as her weakness and that she always seems to rise to the challenge. I guess being blind folded is a close #2. Or is it puzzles?

The first three people voted out of "Brains" are three of the worst I've ever seen

Lady cop is terrible as well. But even her worst effort wasn't bad enough to lose to J'Tia.

I think she might be.

Social - poured all the rice in the fire. Everyone dislikes her.

Physical - perhaps the worst challenge competitor ever. Failed at every task in every challenge. Single handedly lost multiple challenges for her team.

Mental - has done nothing the entire game. Only lasted as long as she did because of others insecurities.

Woo seems like an idiot too, that's disappointing

Meanwhile I'm not sure Cliff and Lindsey have even started playing yet. I'd gladly sit at a final tribal next to those two though.

Yeah, I think she has been the worst ever, even people that were voted off on day 1 with no chance to do anything were at least a net neutral for their tribes. She is literally a negative value at camp, negative value in challenges and has no idea how to play the game.

Yeah, they really haven't had to play yet. Although, as far as they were concerned from the start they were in a group of 4 on a tribe that hasn't lost yet.

That was the funniest part, you could tell that she and the old lady they never show were sand bagging it. Even woo sandbagged the first dive attempt and they still were better than her.

What I don't get on the flag was why Tasha kept telling her to move her hand. J'Tia is horrible, but why didn't they try to hoist the flag when just the top part was hanging over the edge? Every time things rolled off were because J'Tia had no concept of working with her teammate and hoisting it in tandem (the other tribes counted to keep it flat), but at the end, the flag was in the middle and wouldn't have rolled off the end because it was perpendicular to the ends. It probably would have rolled but maybe stayed on the platform caught by the end ropes. Tasha can see the Brawn tribe putting the flag on, so at that point, you have to tell your team to lift it no matter what.

The Brains tribe is the worst collection of people. Tasha is a flip flopper and really hasn't added much to her team. Kass had a decent alliance and flopped and ended up keeping the weakest person (who she said she wanted off first) person and cost her team another player. Garrett and Dave could have gone much further if they had any social game at all. Spencer is the only player that has done anything and he would have won the challenge if not for J-Tia.

Getting rid of cliff when there are a dozen other people? What are you thinking?
She thinks Cliff wants to get rid of her, so she wants to get rid of him before he gets rid of her. Its easy for the viewer to see that is not the case, but it appears she believes what Tony told her. Based on that, its only natural to get rid of the person trying to get rid of you.
She immediately trusts a guy that just admitted he was lying to her face. You don't need to be a viewer to find her actions dumb.
OK. Not arguing that. Just responding to the question as to what she is thinking for wanting to get rid of Cliff.
Agreed that that is what she was thinking, but it goes back to her being dumb. She got conned by a guy who lied to her face and wasn't in her alliance (should immediately set off flags of desperation). She hasn't even thought of Tony being a problem to her or that he might have the idol. She actually thinks throwing a challenge helps. She is so worried about being blindsided by someone who it is obvious is really even playing strategy (can't believe Woo didn't even question her - he's just as dumb).

It does stink when you realize that there are an extremely tiny amount of good players. I think Spencer has played OK, he is just on a tribe with idiots, so hard to see how good he can be socially. Brawn does well in challenges, although they have J-Tia to thank multiple times, so they aren't as dominant as we think. I just can't think of a good thinker on that team, maybe Tony will emerge, but he was playing the lone wolf too hard. As soon as they get to tribal and he gets exposed, he is done. Just like Dave on day 1, he is almost playing his cards too much. He just has been lucky they haven't needed to go to tribal so no reason for his lies to come to the forefront. Beauty is a bunch of dolts as well. Maybe TJ with the idol, but the rest of them are meh players. They have done well at challenges, but again J-Tia all by herself has made it easy for the other two teams to be in the top 2 every time.

The argument of if Garrett was still in, the brains would of won, is probably right, but if the brains would of won, they would of still had 4 players, so they likely wouldn't of merged next week. They are merging because the brains only have 3 people left and the challenges wouldn't be much to watch.

LJ and Spencer seem to be the only ones playing the game as of now.

The beauty tribe and their chicken/egg conversation was a wtf moment. Shows how dumb people really are.

J'Tia is the worst survivor I've seen in a long time. I can't imagine being her boss and co-workers watching this show knowing she was on it, and seeing the way she acted and performed in challenges. Can she really be that good at her job, if she can't operate in doing anything else?

I would have paid a hell of a lot of money to see some skinny white kid beat Cliff Robertson heads-up, though.
Considering that challenge wasn't real basketball and those balls they were throwing into the net were probably 1/2 the size of a basketball, thus making Cliff looking like he is throwing a ping pong ball, it wouldn't be that surprising if Spencer won.

I think they would have merged anyway. With 14 left, I think it goes back to a 7 on 7 set of tribes, which is perfect since you start at a 4-3 split on each tribe. I think Sarnoff was right above that the 3 way split tribes was a very temporary thing.

I do agree that this show is a whole lot of dumb. They showed the beauty tribe last night, the brains have been horrible at everything, including the stuff they are supposed to be better at and the brawn tribe has people already making really dumb choices and they haven't even lost yet.

I don't think Tasha was concerned about the flag rolling, I think she was concerned about it tilting off the lift. Like, as soon as they'd start lifting it up, the flag-heavy side would droop and the whole thing would fall off again. She wanted J'Tia to move her hand down the pole (hey now) and slide the flag part onto the lift.

I don't know if it's his nerdiness/touch-of-aspergers or what, but Spencer wasn't the most sincere-sounding person when pledging his loyalty at Tribal.

I know, but it was still a bad move. She is the only one that can see the brawn team getting their flag in place, so she new she was wasting time. Also, the only time things fell off was side to side, the platforms seemed pretty steady front to back, i.e. where that flag part could droop (pretty sure the flag itself isn't heavy and 85%+ of the flag was on the platform. I don't think it would have fallen off and I think Tasha panicked. That said, J-Tia couldn't lift the platform in sync, so Tasha was worried for good reason, but I don't think she understands that the flag part wasn't the problem, it was the rolling side to side. She needed to create a cadence like the other teams.

I hope for his sake he drops those idiots as soon as he can and finds some competent players to ally with.

I disagree with the bolded. I bet they had a plan to merge at 14 no matter what and form 2 new tribes of 7.

Producers had to look and see they were about to lose eye candy, a celeb, and the only decent brain and decided to merge.

The thought of her running a nuclear reactor is scary.
Despite what she herself said, she can not handle the slightest bit of pressure without panicking. It happened during the puzzle challenge & it happened again last night. Not to mention that she's emotional and hot headed ie. dumping all the rice. Regarding her job I hope she's more on the design side of things rather than operations. I can't imagine her having to make a critical decision regarding a nuclear reactor during a critical situation, scares the he11 out of me.

Please don't circumvent the language filter. :hot:

J'Tia, wow. I've never seen someone be so bad at EVERY SINGLE THING. if they somehow would have won the eggs at reward, she would have broken them all before they even got back to camp.

Did you see the shelter she designed?

:lmao:

What would have been even better than seeing her trip and crush them all, would have been Tasha and Kass somehow convincing themselves that due to the egg crushing that she would be more loyal. Then they vote off Spencer.

Best part was bragging that she had already created a design for a shelter while she was still at home. Then goes on to brag that she is a nuclear engineer. It looked like one of the worst shelter designs ever.

Can you say "affirmative action"...

I would not say "affirmative action", because the government is about 1/4 full of J'Tias of all shapes and colors.

lol fraking dumb tribe. The dude is 6'10" and won that challenge for them. lol
And just when I thought Tony was playing a good game. Now, he is #4 in a tribe with 2 beauties and a brawn who is far more loyal to the beauties than him. Woo and Lindsey are now the next to go, his only real potential loyal ally is the cop lady on the other team. Alexis and Jeremiah are still on the other tribe, so now that he has alienated Woo and Lindsey, his best bet is being the bottom of the 4 beauties + old lady. Throw in the fact that his cop lady appears to not be in the power group on her tribe and his not getting rid of LJ with an idol in hand was a really bad move. He isn't a good player. He just did well getting the idol and got lucky that the cop lady is naive as hell.

Now that would be something. If one of these brains win this thing... how dumb does that make the other tribes? And, cop lady is in a decent position. She said it herself. She is in a tribe of 7 with a 3-3 split and her. She is the swing vote unless the other six simply decide to knock her off when given the chance. She needs to play her cards right so I expect her to be voted out first from that new tribe.

Very :goodposting:

He sticks with Cliff and the rest, they out Trish and stay strong to the merge.. Knowing Trish, he may see the door before Woo now.

Tony is a complete spaz but he could hang around a while. If he makes the merge he still has a working alliance with Sarah and probably gains even real credibility with her by having turned on Cliff and co.

Their tribe should still win some challenges, and I figure even if there aren't any more shakeups crazy old lady will wear out her welcome before they ever pull the trigger on Tony. I suppose LJ could see her as a potential dragee to the end, but I think he prefers his two cuties, and who wouldn't

He must have felt better about Tony's vote than we did, with the editing... risky but nice move keeping that idol! Good spot for him.

Tony is over-thinking the game. Cliff was right when he compared it to the NBA finals... the game/series doesn't really start until you lose. Then you see who is actually on your side and who isn't. For the last two seasons many of the people scramble too fast to start getting rid of strong players. It's all about numbers for the first several immunity challenges. Why get rid of your best challenge player when you don't have to? Makes no sense.

It seems simple, get into the merge with your best numbers, whether you like your tribemates or not. You do that by winning challenges and not going to tribal council. After you merge, then the blindsides begin. People seem to just want to start blindsiding people as soon as the get off the boat.

Both LJ and Tony have idols, if they decide to work together they could really be in good shape.

I thought the move last night during the immunity challenge would have been to see if Cliff was ticklish and go to work on his armpits, neck and stomach hoping that he lets go. I'm still not sure the two of them could have moved him enough even if he wasn't tied to that pole. Seemed like a big mistake for the one team not to put Morgan on the pole giving all of her experience.

If you put Morgan's boobs with Alexis face and butt you'd have the hands down hottest survivor to ever play.
I guess to each his own but I disagree. I think Morgan is far and away hotter than Alexis. IMO she is already one of the hottest to ever play.
