If they keep three for the finale, winning the next immunity challenge is pretty much worth $1,000,000 to Spencer.
I have been saying for a couple of weeks that it looks like the finals has to be two people since that is the way the episodes lined up.

I still say this because the finale is two hours and they are down to 4 right now. I can't see filling two hours with only one tribal before the final tribal.

Has there been a 2 hour finale where they didn't have two TC's before the final tribal? I don't think there has.

If it is a final two, Spencer still has to win two immunities. Someone posted last week about the comment Spencer or Kass made early on that only two whole tribes stood between the

brain tribe and final TC. At this point Spencer would definitely take Kass to the finals. Tony has controlled the game, and Woo is likable. Kass is unliked by all. Easy decision.

I predict Spencer wins two immunities and wins this thing.
Do we know for sure it's a 3 hour survivor night? Could be just 1 hour of regular survivor, and 1 hour reunion show, right?

Will ruin the game if they allow Tony to pretend like his idol is still in play.
Not really and the precedent is already set that you can do phony things with idols. Yao Man was allowed to make fake idols, I don't see how this is any different.
They may not explicitly take it way, but he could give a clue during the final immunity challenge like, "The only way to guarantee yourself a spot in the final three is to win this immunity challenge" and maybe they pick up on it. I think there's good TV drama on if the bluff Tony's planning on playing will work and, if I'm thinking like a producer of the show, I'd really like to have a final 3 with Tony/Spencer/Kass. If they're trying to affect the outcome at all, maybe the preference for them is don't tip off anyone on Tony's "fake" idol and do an immunity challenge that Spencer has a good shot at winning, because that's the only way we end up with a Tony/Spencer/Kass final 3.

I checked the schedule last week. 2 hour finale followed by a 1 hour reunion show.

:lmao: So confused. But Kass's finger was so worth it. She's such a beyotch
She's a lock for heroes vs villains if it happens again
She hasn't played a bad game. She has swung her vote multiple times, and hasn't been shy about letting it be known. She has fought openly, and she loves to flash that #### eating grin when she purposely stirs the pot. She knows she isn't winning friends, but she has played her own game out there.
You're kidding, right? She flipped back and forth her first three tribals, managed to vote with an alliance once, then flipped again - this time under the threat of 5 potential jurors claiming they wouldn't vote for her. Subsequently, she's blindsided by her own alliance twice and has had zero control over the outcome since her merge flip. Plus, she's continually condescending and confrontational. She's been worthless in challenges too. She's everyone's first choice to sit next to at final tribal. It's an absolutely horribly played game.

I mean, the current "alliance" from last night of Kass/Woo/Spenser is the same group that failed to come together last tribal. This season is so unpredictable.

This is on Wednesday instead of the usual Sunday finale, correct?

Yes. A little window into network politics: Survivor no longer fears American Idol.

No, I am not kidding.

She hasn't played a bad game in the sense that she keeps finding ways to position herself in relatively safe places, socially, when the votes are being counted each week.

She's played a terrible game in the sense that almost every member of the jury can't seem to get enough of laughing at, sneering at, or openly mocking her during tribal council. I think her only real hope was to make it to the finale against J'Tia.

For the record I HATE HATE HATE the fact they going final 2. Makes the true winner in most seasons have to work so hard to win the final 4 and final 3 immunity or they are going home. Someone like Kass will always be dragged to the final 3, so of course she will get to final 2 as well, while good players will never make it to final 2, we will likely be seeing Kass and Woo in a final 2 which would seriously be horrible for viewers to have to accept one of them as the winner

If it's a final two instead of a final three and Kass and Woo team up to nuke Spencer and Tony Kass 100% deserves the million.
Even in this scenario Kass has 5 of 9 jurors that promised to not vote for her.
Giving it to Woo would be a travesty, and I think they're all big enough fans of the game to know it.
If you were scoring this game, Woo's score would be close to zero. Kass' would be negative. She's closer to Colton than Russell.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a Survivor where one person, who lasted this long, had very clear and memorable one-on-one interactions with so many people that would absolutely guarantee they hate her.

That said, I'll be psyched if she makes it back as an all star. Tony, Kass, and Spence all ought to be locks for an invite at some point if the show continues going strong.

Tony is gonna be on this show at least another 3 times. Dude is about the best casting find they ever had. He is likable, funny, nutso in the head, extremely passionate about the game and never whines at all.

For sure. I know many are under the impression he's some hated guy but I'm not seeing it.

He's gotten along and played with pretty much everyone in the game. Sure he's blindsided a bunch of them, but I don't think he's hated at all.

Not sure if this was posted here , but here is Tony's thought process on why he voted to kick out Trish over Kass

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOyeNvXZyqM&feature=youtu.be

Makes some sense since Kass is a bitter hag and would never vote for him, but he needed Trish's loyalty in the event Spenser wins immunity next week (really possible) and the other two easily vote him out, since I don't think he can play any idols.
Exactly what Tony should be thinking. He has played a very good game. Either him or Spencer are deserving IMO. Boy would I hate a Kass/Woo final 2.

I think he is just built to play this game. other people have to think and strategize and really work at it, but I think his personality makes him a natural fit for the game, and I don't think he really has to work too hard at it at all.

Why didn't Tony give his idol to Trish?
because he's planning to use the (bluff of the) special idol to protect himself in the next TC. so he had to use the normal idol this time.
What show are you watching?
It's what he said he was going to do. "I have to play one at five, and the special one I can play at four." That rumor, he hopes, will keep Spenser/Kass/Woo from voting him out next. The thought of him still being able to use the idol should frighten them.

I just hope either Tony or Spencer wins this thing. This has been one of the best seasons ever. It needs to have a worthy champion.
I was wondering how this season matched up against the others. I enjoy the show and really liked this season but only watched about two other seasons through to the end.

Curious, have they ever started with just one big group from the start rather than having two tribes to merge? It would be interesting to see the players scramble to form their own groups within.

If it comes down to Kass and Woo, I think Kass giving Trish the finger behind her back once voted out will cost her votes. Kass has said several times you lie as part of the game, and that is true, but giving that gesture in that circumstance made it personal, and that isn't a part of playing the game.

Kass has no chance of winning the vote and besides if she has her way she'll be there with Tony. If it's Kass and Woo it will have to have been Woo's doing. A number of those folks seem to think Woo can win.. which means he can because those are voters.

If Kass beat Woo it would be another Survivor First -- an ###-hole beating a nice person in the final vote

Its from BEFORE the immunity challenge of the episode we just saw. Should have been in show but the editors probably left it out since they wanted the Trish eviction to be more shocking

Agree with all of this...

I honestly think it could go to any of the four of them depending on who they sit next to at the final. Tony has played an incredibly strong game — from the get go. He has hustled and maneuvered on a level with some of the best. He is a great read of people. Spencer has earned so much respect because he has never given up even though he’s the Charlie Brown of this season. He continues to fight even when everything says, “You’re done.” Kass, evil as many may see her, has played a pretty shrewd game and I think could make a very strong argument that she made some huge moves and deserves the dough. Woo would have to finish strong and then choose wisely. If he puts himself against the right person, I think Woo could charm his way to the money because he really hasn’t made any enemies. How long has it been that we’ve had four potential winners? It’s a great way to finish what has been a fantastic season.

Kass can't win. Not only is she reviled, she has no self-awareness to know how much she is hated. She has 3 hard no's in Sarah, Morgan and Trish. Jeremiah blames her for killing his chances. Tony and Spencer can't stand her. She screwed Tasha too. And there is no way that Jefra or LJ take kindly to her attitude and behavior, but atleast she didn't help vote them off. So her best case, against Woo, she's starting in the hole 0-3 with only 2 people that would blame her opponent for their downfall.

Complete nonsense. Kass wouldn't get a vote if she was in final 2 with the corpse of a pig. She literally has zero chance at winning.

Help me out some. I get the hate for Kass but why again is there hate for her. She doesn't seem likable but what has she done to earn so much hate?

On the other hand, Trish is vile. She is one of the worst players, offensive, vile. There should be more hate for her, no? She "forced" a player to leave and went off on Kass (whether justified or not) in a vile way.

I think Spencer sweeps the votes if he is in. Tony, I think sweeps if he is in. To close to call if both are in the finals.

Not sure how you can think those things of Trish if you watched this season. She was always pretty classy out there, never bad mouthed others and seemed like a nice woman. Kass was the vile one who would sling mean spirited insults at every single person and generally look like a hateful person. Her strategies made no sense and she always did things to try to create "chaos" but they served no purpose at all. I was hating on Kass before it was a cool thing to hate on her.

You guys missed the point. The question was why didn't he use his idol on Trish, the idol he threw out instead of giving her a chance at staying.

Yeah, they did miss the point; I think the answer is that he wanted Trish gone. He has to have Kass there because she's his chosen goat, and he either wanted Woo around to vie with Spencer in immunity challenges, or he thought that voting out Woo might hurt him with the jury.
