2012 NFL Survivor: Week 3

He missed! Mostly thanks to Mr. Gostkowski, 49.6% of OFP entrants were knocked out in Week 2, bringing us down to 44.3% of where we started.

New Orleans (vs. Kansas City; -388/+336)

No, the Saints are not a "lock" this week. In fact, they're not currently the biggest favorite at Pinnacle. It's true that they don't have much future value, but given how popular they are this week while comparable teams are just as likely to win, they're really not a very attractive option here.

San Francisco (at Minnesota; -285/+252)

Second most popular, fourth biggest favorite, tons of value in Weeks 4-17? Think I'll pass.

Chicago (vs. St. Louis; -345/+301)

I was thinking about taking the Bears for awhile this week, before a couple factors changed and a clear choice emerged. In most weeks, Chicago would probably be the best option -- big favorite, not very popular, little future value. And they're certainly not a terrible pick, just not the best one in this particular week.

Pittsburgh (at Oakland; -200/+180)

Steelers looked good last week, not so much for the Raiders. I guess that's why Pittsburgh is so popular in Yahoo!. This is not a good spot.

Dallas (vs. Tampa Bay; -400/+346)

Here we go. According to the current Pinny MLs, the Cowboys are the team most likely to win this week, at 78%. They are not very popular at all, and would be nice to have around in Week 11 (vs. Cleveland), but that's about it.

Pretty clear choice this week; I'm going with Dallas.
