T. Henry vs E. James (1 Viewer)

Who do you see having a more productive 08 season?

Who has more upside?

Both will be 30 this year.

I'd have to say James but it hinges on if AZ drafts a RB early. I think James will have another very solid year. They have a solid commitment to run the ball. Henry could surprise, but he has some competition in the backfield. My money would be on James.

Cards will take a RB 1st or 2nd rd. That's a fact.

Edge is probably in his last year in the desert and I see around 1,000 and 6td's

edit to add

I have no idea how to gauge T Henry this year.

Injury?

Slevin?

Drafted RB?

and mix in that offensive genius of a head coach, most could probably predict the next lotto #'s before they could Henry's

I like Edge a lot this year, think he'll be a nice bargain. Henry I have no clue, but Edge is more talented and has a much better shot at producing solid #s regardless of who they draft as his replacement.

concur. For 2008 Edge is your man.

This about him restructuring his contact, not who is the starter in Denver
Read the article.
I did, no mention of Henry being the starter or not. ????
" He missed three games due to injury and lost his starting job."

Yeah...Ryan Grant became the starter in Green Bay in 2007...but that was last year. Maybe they'll go back to using DeShawn Wynn by Week 1.

so young is the starter? what did he do to earn it?

Cmon fella's It should be common knowladge that nobody will know who the starter in Denver is until Gametime week 1

The depth chart is likely to change several times in the 5 months

Young was averaging over a yard more per carry than Henry, 5.2 to 4.1. Young was also better at catching the ball out of the backfield, he wasn't fantastic at it, but he was better.

i do not see anything that would indicate that Young's #s are fantastichttp://www.pro-football-reference.com/play...nSe00_games.htm

Plus hasn't Shanahan gone on record as saying he doesn't believe Young could take the wear and tear of being a starter? The Ryan Grant analogy fairly ridiculous IMO. Selvin Young wasn't even remotely close to as dominant as Grant.

No idea if Henry will start, but that article sheds no real light on the subject as far as I'm concerned.

:lmao: best bet is to avoid the Denver RB situation at all costs. It'll drive you nuts otherwise.
Truer words were never spoke. I'm still in therapy over last year's debacle. The reality is: Shanny proven strategy is to be unpredictable at the RB position. Just do yourself a favor and skip all Denver RBs.

I don't see how these two backs have anything in common, other than that they're both on fsufan's keeper roster.
